This is a cute toy, however it doe's not move on rugs. It's great if you let your child play with it on wooden or ceramic tile floors.

I ordered this for my 9 month old and she seems to enjoy the butterfly. It is a lot larger then the picture portrays and was suprised by the size. My daughter likes to crawl after the butterfly and is not scared of it at all.

I purchased this on sale at Babies 'R Us for just over $6 because it said it promotes crawling. My five month old daughter is afraid of it though. It is a bit loud and the large flapping wings probably are startling for a baby. It is very cute and I hope she will enjoy it more in a few months.

I think it would be good for a baby who does not startle easily. If you notice that your baby is skittish around loud noises then it may not be good for them.

My daughter purchased this for our infant grandaughter and the poor child is terrified of it. When turned on, it loudly 'flaps' its wings and moves across the floor. The body is hard plastic and the toy is heavier than it seems it would be: this may be why it makes so much noise. Our little one isn't afraid of her other toys that move & make sound so this is a mystery to us. Fortunately, she had fun playing with the box it came in!

This butterfly is so cute. Our granddaughter is 6 months old and chewed on the wings first thing. She is starting to scoot on her tummy so I know she will be crawling after this pretty butterfly.

This is a cute little toy that flips it's wings, sings and moves even on carpet. It is very durable and my son constantly push it under his body or try to take the wings off. It can be a little scary for the first few times as the noise of the wings going up and down is quite loud but after the little ones get used to it, all they want to do is to chase them around.

I bought this for my daughter when she was an infant and she always loved crawling after it. I also bought it as a gift for one of my coworkers. One thing I will say is, I found it to be a little loud at times

I was excited about this toy for my eight month old. I thought it was pretty cool that it could right itself after tipping over. Unfortunately after the second day it wouldn't do this anymore. It needs to be pushed back up. Nice idea but it didn't hold up to my eight month old who wanted to chase it and then hold it...subsequently breaking it. Also, the motor is very loud.

This is a cute toy, but extremely loud! My daughter has never been interested in it for more than a few minutes. Her favorite thing to do is "trap" the wings so that it makes a loud clicking sound (trying to flap). There is no volume control. I got this toy on sale - otherwise I would not have bought it. It's cute, but I probably would not recommend it to a friend.

My daughter HATES this toy, she cries every time it moves. I'm glad I didn't buy this one. My dogs like to chase it, that's a plus lol

*Also if you have longer hair it will catch it- we had to cut my nieces hair out of it*
