For the price it's OK. My son loves the ball but the mitt does not really stay on his hand and silly me I thought it was made with velcro but it's not and the ball does not stay in the glove.

I purchased this toy for my 2 year old son so he could have a mitt of his own to take to baseball games. I originally thought that the ball would have velcro on it so he could hold on to the ball when it was thrown to him. There was no velcro on it & it is hard for him to catch the ball. HOWEVER, he absolutely LOVES the ball & mitt separately. The ball is light enough that he can throw it pretty far and will not hurt anyone if they get hit by it. The only thing I do not like about the ball is that it is soft enough that he can bite pieces off it if he wanted to. I am sure it would be better suited for a slightly older child.

My son like every other boy loves to throw a ball around. I bought this because he is still too young to figure out if he is right or left handed and this would work either way. Well, it sucks...The threading ripped almost immediately and uniike what the product describes it doesn't help him learn to catch in anyway. No pocket or whatever to provide support and encouragement in the glove!

We weren't very impressed by this product. Fortunately, we purchased it on a good Holiday deal. I would have returned it *for sure* if we had paid full price. Honestly, if I had seen this product in the store for the Holiday deal, I probably wouldn't have bought it. It looks pretty cheap...

Great for my 4 yr old grandson. Not quite a first "leather" glove, so it lets them learn to catch with a softer glove. Also works for both left and right handers.

I was looking for a left hand throw baseball glove for a while for our three year old boy. There aren't a lot of choices when you're looking for something this size and for a left handed thrower to boot.
I came across this one and decided to give it a shot since the glove was reversible. After receiving it and using it once, it was apparent that this glove was not really able to serve as a glove at all. It's so flimsy that it's really incapable of helping a child with small hands to catch any ball, let alone the large ball that comes with it. I was going to return it for a refund, but my son decided to take a couple of bites out of the foam ball so... Don't waste your money on this one.

When I purchased this, I thought it was a velcro catch set that would be good for my 20month old. It is not. The toy has a pretty deep pocket which makes it easier for the little guy to catch the ball, but its something more appropriate for an older child, who is upto the next level.
