5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable vanity
This toy was bought as a Christmas gift for a sweet little girl. She absolutely loved it, and plays with it often. It is well-made and attractive.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very small, price reflects value
I understand that this vanity is made to fit inside the dream town castle, but please be aware that it is very, very small. I think it would be more appropriate for girls ages 18 months to possibly three and definitely not beyond. This was purchased for my 4 yr old and she can hardly fit at the table.

2.0 out of 5 stars cardboard junk, December 26, 2008

We bought this for my 3yo, we are not happy with the quality or design. It is made of cardboard sheets that slide into plastic grooves, then topped with a plastic vanity. The cardboard is only designed on one side, so the inside of the vanity, which is easily visible, is just white. The mirror is a sticker, and produces fun house mirror images, not exactly what a little princess wants to see when she looks at herself. I got this on a December special for $15 and still feel it is not even worth that. Buy a princess vanity or Dora vanity to use in the castle, they will fit and are much better made.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a younger princess or small spaces!, January 2, 2011

This was given as a gift to our almost 2 year old. It is the ideal vanity for a little girl and great if you are tight on space, as we are. It assembles quickly and has some cute details, like the lily flower pattern on the seat and around the mirror. I would not recommend it for bigger kids and I certainly would not pay the full retail price on it, but for our purposes it is completely perfect and our daughter totally loves it! Definitely a good purchase for those with limited space.

I purchased this for my 2 year old and it is the perfect size for her. She puts on her pajamas every night at the vanity and does her hair after her bath. I would think by the size this should last her around 1 to 2 years (my 4 year old son is way too big to sit at the vanity). I am so happy that I found this on sale for [...] instead of [...]. It is nowhere near being worth a $50 toy but is well worth the [...].

This toy is terrible. Also, it shows a price of $17, but when added to the cart it's over $40. I went to Target to purchase it because I was so annoyed at the Amazon listed price, and am thrilled that I did because it's junk. Buy a disney vanity as another reviewer said.

3.0 out of 5 stars The Incredible Collapsing Vanity!, August 11, 2009

We own almost every item in the Dream Town collection and I realize that none of them are truly durable or large in size- this particular item, however, is especially fragile and small. Every time you touch, move or look at this vanity cross-wise, the thing shatters into pieces. The top never stays on and the sides never stay in. You can fix it and within one minute, it's back in four pieces. It's not permanently broken, mind you- but it's annoying to have to have your child ask you to reassemble her vanity fifty five times in one playdate. I wouldn't mind at all that it's cheap, small or that the mirror is a sticker...if the thing would just stay in one piece!

If you really want a play vanity, look for something else. This thing is just tiny, endless frustration in a box.
