Great idea - poor design,

I was estatic at the thought of having a portable kitchen to take to Grandma's or wherever. It's a great size. The overall design is good, but "push down and pull" to open the appliances? Are they kidding? Yeah, let's get out the medicine bottles next and try push down and turn. This is not for a 2 year old to do as it frustrates my daughter that she needs my help to open the appliances. I even have trouble with the oven. You have to really push down hard and then pull (on ours). I don't think she will be able to do that one before she outgrows it. Great idea -- needs work.

I bought this for my daughter's second birthday. She was really excited to get it and didn't want to play with anything else. However, she got frustrated because it doesn't stand up on its own. It just isn't shaped right to stand up by itself with a little kid playing with it. She got frustrated with the fridge door because it was hard to open and the little flip out sink keeps popping off. Overall it is a great idea. I loved the idea that it was compact and didn't take up a bunch of room and could be stored. They just need to make it more user friendly for the really small kids who are just getting into this sort of thing. She still plays with it, she just has gotten to where she will prop it against something. I would say it is cute and very well made. Comes with some cute accessories.

My daughter loves to play with plastic food and I thought this would be a great toy. I don't recommend this kitchen for the following reasons: it falls over too easily, the sink falls off if you bump it, the oven door and the fridge door are hard to open for my 2 1/2 year old. It's a great idea to have the whole kitchen together in one small portable toy, but it just wasn't designed as good as it could have been. It's frustrating to play with even for an adult. It does come with a few food pieces and dishes and my daughter has fun playing with it when she's not frustrated that it's broken. Buy something else!

I brought this toy for my 2 yr. old daughter so she could take it to her Nonnas(grandmother) house and let me tell you it did nothing but fall apart, she got so frustrated with this toy that I just throw it away. A WASTE OF MY HARD EARN MONEY!!I would not recommend this toy to anyone.

I got this toy for my daughters 3rd birthday as a last minute impulse buy. It does fall over sometimes, but my daughter just picks it back up, and the 2 sides and the sink come unhinged a lot but snap back together easily. The best way to play with this toy is against a wall, that seems to solve the tipping over problem, she can also unattach the fridge and the sink so that they are not so close together. The main problem with it is that its well made durable plastic which is heavy and its thin to be compact the two together make for a bad combo, its kinda top heavy. I don't regret buying the toy because out of everyhing she got her AND her 4 yr old brother play with this the most. They really like it and while I would like for it to be made better what matters is that she thinks its cool and plays with it a lot.

If you've got enough space buy a more durable kitchen set,

I bought this for my daughter when she was 2. She's almost 3 now and she still plays with it occasionally, but the 3 main pieces fall apart every time she uses it. The whole thing is very flimsy and gets knocked over all the time. We are short on space in our house so I liked the compact size and the wheels on this product. I purchased it despite negative reviews. My daughter does enjoy playing with it when it's in one piece, but she gets frustrated with it quickly.

I bought this for my daughter's fifth birthday after seeing it in a magazine. She had been begging me for a kitchen, but I told her no as we didn't have the space for it. When I saw this toy, I thought what a great compromise,a kitchen for her and space for me! Boy was I wrong! It will not stay together at all. Everytime she opens it, I have to snap it together for her. She has had it for less than two weeks and hates it now. On the upside my 16 month old son loves carting it around so it's not a total waste of money. For christmas, I'm just going to make room and get a regular kitchen set for her.

My daughter got this toy last month for her 2nd birthday, and absolutely loves it! She plays with this little kitchen constantly. I love the idea of traveling with it. Once opened, it easily becomes unhinged; my daughter doesn't mind this though. And honestly, for less than $10, you can't expect it to be perfect. For Christmas, we'll graduate to a larger kitchen and leave this one at Grandma's!

i brought this toy for my daughter she is 2 years old. It would be fun if it didn't fall apart. It falls over very easy and the parts fall off very easy. Every time she opens the toy it comes apart. She would like to play with it but she can't because everything comes apart. Same your money!

My 2 yr. old and 5 yr. old cousin loved this toy...until they finally got too frustrated with everything falling off/apart. It is a nice idea...I wish someone would make a more durable kitchen this size in a portable design...
