We got this at a great Amazon sale price as a Christmas present for a 2-year-old. Getting it out of its box/holder wasn't much fun -- but the toy itself is pretty good, with lots of movements and sounds. But, like all "walking" toys in this price range, kids will likely tire of it fairly quickly. On the other hand, it is very nice looking and will undoubtedly find a long-term home on display on a shelf, taken down occasionally for play. It has a soft surface, but is not a take-to-bed toy because of the hard plastic shell on top and the mechanical structures you can feel through the fur, and wouldn't likely take much abuse. But at the right price, it's impressive enough.

I bought this (along with several others in the set) for my nephew 2 Christmases ago. He loved them, but I was especially impressed when I saw him bring them back into "rotation" (he always brings some toys when he visits my parents) now that he has really gotten interested in dinosaurs. They still look almost like new and have proven to be durable.

My 6 year old son when nuts when he opened this little guy! In fact he says its his favorite present this year :) Score for me! I love how he moves and the fact that if you put something in his mouth he starts to chomp on it, lots of fun with army men and little plastic lizards, lol (even if he is an herbavore)

bought this for my 8 year old neice. she loves dinosaurs and was very impressed by this one.. it walks and makes noises. for $10 it was a good deal

Bought this toy for a 3 year old who has just begun to love dinosaurs. It is really cute and fun. His 4 year old sister liked it as well.

Purchased for a son who is 6. Thought it did more than it does. That was my fault. However not entertaining enough for an older kid.

This dinosaur is so much fun to play with! I got it for my 2 year old son and my 2 year old nephew. They LOVE it! Just make sure you follow the instructions and take it out of "demo" mode. Overall, I'm very please with it's durability. My son and thrown it countless time and it's still working like new. I am considering buying a different one as well, so they have "friend".

wasn't sure if it was too young of a toy for my 5 yr old boy, but wanted to try it since it's my son's favorite kind of dinosaur and he loves it! he carries it around like a pet. great toy for any fan of dinosaurs.

My daughter loves the Stompers and Hatchlings and this toy is the best of both. It roars and walks but you can also "feed" it with your finger like the hatchlings. She is enjoying playing with it with the rest of her Stompers and Hatchlings.

I bought this for my [...] old. He liked it for the 1st hour. His sister is 4 and has not put it down it's been 2 days now. The kids have managed to move the legs up so it can't walk but you put the leg back in place and it works fine again!I bought this when it was on sale for $9.99 and it was well worth the cost I hope the durability lasts! Overall I think my daughter would say she loves it!Great gift for 3+.
