My daughter has loved this toy since she was 9 months old.

This is borderline okay... I found it a bit loud and annoying.

At the end of the alphabet a little "hurray" sound is played.

This toy is a perfect substitute "leapster" for my toddler who always wants to play with his big brother's toys. Teaches ABCs and numbers, while making him feel like a "big boy" too.

This product is one of my top fav for my toddler. He's learning from it and it's perfect size to carry along anywhere. Great toy-especially for the price!

The great thing about this is that it DOES NOT go on and on and on with stupid songs. It does what it says and nothing more; push the numbers button and it counts, or push the letters button and it says the alphabet. My kid has loved it since we introduced it to him at 8 months old (he is now 17 months old); ours is orange with yellow buttons, but the design is exactly the same. The batteries have yet to be changed. We take it with us whenever we travel, and we wake up to him playing with it. Once, we forgot it at home during a trip, and he didn't sleep well at all --- so, we went looking for something similar. We could not find anything as good or as simple. Toy cell phones, toy laptops, or similar gadgets would do WAAAAAAAY more than needed by playing long drawn out LOUD songs when reciting the alphabet or counting. Those gadgets went overboard. Take my word for it: this toy palm pilot is great --- it's durable, energy efficient, not annoying, and simple.

My daughter has loved this toy since she was 9 months old. It is very educational and practical. It was a good investment. It is very durable, it has survived many banging's and slamming's. I do have to keep a close eye on her with this toy because she likes to stick the stylus in her mouth and chew on it. It is rather long and my concern would be that she could choke herself. This is always a typical concern with smaller parts.

I bought three of these for 3 year old toddlers. I thought they would love it, but they weren't so crazy about it. It definitely is a durable toy that I would recomend for a younger toddler. Just doesn't do enough to keep the attention span of 3-5 year olds.

My son is almost 4 years old, but has a disability, cerebral palsy, mild to moderate. Anyway, he has mastered how to use this toy and absolutely loves it. I would highly recommend this toy for hand eye coordination

I have 3 boys from 2-5 years. None of them ever really liked this toy much. Eventually I tossed it in the van for road trips. They seemed to like it much better when there was nothing else to do.

holy cow is this thing annoying. And no on/off switch. It needs an on/off switch!!! buyer beware! there are some toys I just can't handle the sound, but usually I can turn them off. not this one
