It's just an okay toy, my son is 1 1/2, he lost interest in it fast because it is kind of hard to operate you have to slam your hand down on the lever pretty hard.

darn, I thought this was an air popper like our other poppin park playskool toys... I got it on a lightning deal for our 13 month old as a Christmas gift. I think he will play with it a bit when he is older and can better understand that he physically has to pop the balls through the toy, and then press the release button for them to come out... but for now he just presses the lever, enjoys the music and elephants blinking ear and plays with the balls. He does not yet play with this toy as intended. Sorry playskool, but this one is not great :( it does seem to be well made though, the characters are cute and it came with batteries, plus the balls work in all of our other playskool brand toys too! Spend your money on the Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Poppity Pop Muscial Dino (its awesome ball fun) or the Playskool Explore and Grow Busy Ball Popper (the balls pop themselves!) we have both. I guess since it was a lightning deal I did not pay close enough attention to the fact that this toy is too confusing and not exciting enough for my 13 month old. If it was made of wood, it would be cool. But as a plastic toy with batteries I expect it to be "smarter".

4.0 out of 5 stars Love it, but not for little babies! January 2, 2012
By K. Hamm
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
My 9 month old is more interesting in playing with the balls than the toy as a whole, but he HAS pressed the button just to make the lights and sounds go off. He likes the cute little jungle sounds and music it plays. (Not an annoying toy by the way.) It is definitely going to take some time for any child to understand exactly how to operate this thing though and get out of it what it was meant to do. Infact, I am considering putting this toy away for a while and bringing it out later, because in the meantime, my son may lose all of the balls that came with it underneath my furniture waaay before he ever gets to use this properly!!

Bought this toy for my nephew who just turned 1 years old. His 3 and half year old brother helped him open it, and he fell in love with the toy also. Very good toy that kept both children occupied. Definitely worth buying!

This toy says 9 months and above, but I'm the mom and I have trouble hitting the button hard enough to make this actually work right. Half the time the ball ends up shooting out the back. I'm not that impressed.

3.0 out of 5 stars chasing those balls January 18, 2012
Durability: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
The balls fly out and roll away making this a pain in the neck to operate. It has some benefits, but those are outweighed by the flaw.
