Mr. Potato Head
My 2 1/2 year old loves this toy. She likes making "silly faces" I like it because it teaches hand eye co-ordination and creativity. This set is really nice because you get 2 potato bodies and 5 sets of "clothes" and parts. I think it's a great value. It's nice that my daughter and I can both make our own potato at the same time and we have lots of parts to choose...

Fantastic...from elsewhere
As all Mr. Potato Head products are, this is a fantastic, expansive toy, complete with carrying case (a wonderful thing for a 3 year old who thinks her shoes go under the dining table). However, this is waaaay overpriced here, as I purchased this exact set from BigLots last week for a whopping $24.00. I recommend looking around at local stores for this one, even though...

However, this is waaaay overpriced here, as I purchased this exact set from BigLots last week for a whopping $24.00. I recommend looking around at local stores for this one, even though I usually purchase everything from Amazon Prime and think their customer service usually far outweighs the 3-4 dollar price difference of most items. Our Speech and Language Pathologist HIGHLY RECOMMENDS ALL POTATO HEADS for therapy with our 2.5 year old daughter. Because there are so many elements on the "potato" you can interact in discussion with your child to broaden their vocabulary and understanding of words, especially verbs. This variety pack REALLY fit the bill since there were so many accessories---that was the number 1 thing we looked for! It delivers! Great!

Most of these say 3+. My daughter has always been a little ahead in development and most toys can really go about a year early once you get to 3 and up from what I have seen. My daughter just turned 2 and has had them since last Christmas. She LOVES them. She will sit for hours sometimes playing with taking the pieces in and out.
