We got this, along with the Spud Lightyear, for my son for his birthday. He is really into Toy Story, and loves his original Mr. Potato Head, so we figured it was a win/win. Nope! Like the Spud Lightyear, this is nothing like the original. It is cheap plastic, the parts do not fit together well and are so loose in the holes they constantly fall out (eyes, nose, ears, shoes, accessories). On both, there is also an opening at the back of the potato head that is always coming off, and takes an act of congress to get back on. It's really a pain in the butt and not worth the money!

We love all things Toy Story in the house right now. Our four-year-old immediately recognized the Mr. Potato Head as Sheriff Woody. Was it the hat?

Thank goodness one of our favorite games is to dress up Mr. Potato Head then make him "run" across the floor so all his pieces fall off...

Some of the pieces are difficult to attach. For example, the vest and belt both rely on the arm connection to the potato; the vest has holes for the arms to go through and the belt has hooks to attach it to the arms. With all that bulk and weight, the arms then tend to fall off. Also, the ears do not stay on as they should, as they appear in the photo of the product here. There isn't enough room for them to face forward fully. They sit more at an angle.

Be prepared for your young child to frequently ask for assistance "dressing" this Mr. Potato Head.

What is Woody without Buzz? Lonely. Buzz will be joining you soon. Woody's nose is a little big and orange isn't my favorite color.

I thought that I would never find this in any store and it's like the one I used to have in the late 60's.

Worth every penny for kids to enjoy.
