5.0 out of 5 stars My DD walks!
Got this for my DD 8 months ago. She was frustrated that her big brother was walking (he's 4) and she just couldn't get it. So, I bought this toy. She LOVED it. She squealed and was walking with it in no time. It took her a small while to figure out how to turn once she hit a barrier. 1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and very poorly made
My son was starting to cruise around and I wanted something that he could push. I loved that this toy was a push toy that converted to something that he could ride once he got older. This toy is very poorly manufactured. It isn't sturdy at all! My son has already pulled all of the parts off. It looks and feels very cheap. Spend a few dollars more and get another brand...

Got this for my DD 8 months ago. She was frustrated that her big brother was walking (he's 4) and she just couldn't get it. So, I bought this toy. She LOVED it. She squealed and was walking with it in no time. It took her a small while to figure out how to turn once she hit a barrier. It was lightweight enough that if she got stuck in a corner she could pick it up and turn around. My best friend has a LO that is 3 months younger than my DD. He visited and loved the walker so much that I bought the blue version for him for his birthday. He has been walking a lot more and better than before. He also squealed with delight when using this toy. My DD is almost 17 months old and still uses this.
I would and have recommended this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with this push toy, June 11, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Playskool Walk N Ride - Pink (Toy)
I am very happy with this toy. My son is 10 months old (about 27" tall) and is able to walk a few steps on his own, but prefers to walk with support. This push toy allows me to get some housework done or sit down for a couple of minutes. He can push it around easily, in part because the wheels don't turn, it slides nicely on our wood floor. He pushes it in the upright and the down position, it is a bit more sturdy in the down position. It is perfect for his size and stage of mobility, but I would not recommend this for an older child because of its size.

I got this as a gift..part of the gift is that my friends put it together for us! My daughter just loves this walker..how can I even call it a walker; it's a runner for her! She does circles around the house. She puts her stuffed animals in it for a ride. I know it's building up her legs to walk on her own and then she'll be able to ride on this. This is by far her favorite toy out of the many, many toys in the house!

This toy is very poorly manufactured. It isn't sturdy at all! My son has already pulled all of the parts off. It looks and feels very cheap. Spend a few dollars more and get another brand that is actually sturdy and doesn't fall apart. We had it two days before my son was able to pull the attachments off. He can't even walk with it very well, because the wheels dont roll smoothly and it's not sturdy and flips over. Total waste of money!!!!

My 9mth old granddaughter has been pulling up and walking along the table for a while. We noticed she started trying to walk without holding on. She is fearless. I wanted this for Christmas could not find a pink one in stores, so I ordered it online. No problem with shipping and my granddaughter is walking still a little wobbly but that's where the toy comes in. She already loves to ride it more than walking with it. She loves the activities on it.

Basically:

Opened box to assemble....wheels are the 1st instruction to put on. Very difficult to push on....my husband had to apply manly force onto them to get them on with beads of sweat popping out on his forehead....and there are 4 total. #%!*

After assembling the walker/rider with some difficulty, finally it's together and it is cute and works...but the wheels don't turn on our slick hardwood floors.

It's the kind of toy to expect in the early 80's...with no battery powered buttons etc.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible, December 8, 2011

I bought this for my daughter who is learning how to walk since my oldest daughter learned how to walk with something visually similar which the manufacturer had stopped making and this appeared to fit the bill of what she used. Almost instantly I realized this is very poorly made (out of thin plastic) and was difficult to put the screws in holding the handle to the base. After the screws were in place I tried to put the toy in "walk mode" so my daughter could walk around with it. This instantly warped the plastic where the screws held the handle in place. I thought to my self this probably isn't supposed to happen, however I followed the directions during assembly so I'll see how this plays out. I put the walker down and ensured that it was locked by the lock on the bottom lock (which took a couple try's since I didn't want to break the walker completely). As soon as I put the equivalent of my daughters weight it snapped shut.

I didn't even bother returning this since I got it for cheap, right in the trash it went, I guess that's what I get. I will be spending a little bit more money and getting something a little bit nicer. I would give this product zero stars if possible, or I would make playskool give me star or two for the 20 minutes of my life they helped waste.

I give this product a C+. Its cute and my neice loves to ride it. But as a walker it is a little to unstable for my comfort and my neice's(a 1 year old) comfort as well. The walker is a little wobbley and not as stable and strong as it should be.

4.0 out of 5 stars While this toy is durable and fun, it looks a little cheap., October 22, 2011

I had ordered this toy for my toddler for her 1st birthday. She was learning to walk at the time, so I figured that this would be perfect for her.

When it arrived to my home, I was disappointed in how cheap it looked. It looks a lot nicer in the photograph. I am not some overly picky diva who complains about everything - honest! This really does look chintzy - or at least mine does. Maybe I just received a dud. I do like the price though. It IS sturdy and durable. My daughter has also gotten lots of play out of it. She would squeal in delight when she walked behind it. She's been playing with it for 10 months now and it really doesn't look any more worn than when we first put it together.

If I didn't have a playroom to put this in, the toy would probably drive me nuts as it is kind of an eyesore. However, I don't regret buying it as my baby does love it.

Its a nice toy rider/walker but for tall babies/toddlers off the charts I would not buy this toy. Other then that it wasn't that bad I gave it to a friend of mine who's son was my daughter age but smaller and he loved it.
