4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Controller for the price I got it at
I was a little skeptical getting this controller. When it was priced around 12 dollars, it didn't seem like too bad of an idea. So, I went ahead and bought one to try it out. To my surprise, it wasn't bad. It feels similar to the Dualshock 2 that I have come to love, and is slightly bigger. The analog sticks have the same feel, but that is different for the buttons. They...

2.0 out of 5 stars silver controller
I put this in my closet for a year before using it. I felt with the Playstation name I would not have any problem with it. But after playing with it for 3 weeks, I began having problems. The left analog stick would not function properly at times, causing your character to move to the right when you were trying to go left. This happened in 4 different games and I would...

They have a "mushy" feel to them, which I don't like compared toe the "tactical" one on the Dualshock 2. The rumble is ok, same goes for the ergonomics of the controller. The biggest plus this controller had over my Dualshock 2 is the fact that it's cord was a fair bit longer, which came in handy.

Bottom Line: If your going to get another PS2 controller, go for your trusty Dualshock 2, given that they are the same price. If this is say, 5+ dollars lower, it's open game as far as I am concerned.

I put this in my closet for a year before using it. I felt with the Playstation name I would not have any problem with it. But after playing with it for 3 weeks, I began having problems. The left analog stick would not function properly at times, causing your character to move to the right when you were trying to go left. This happened in 4 different games and I would have to switch to another controller to finish a level. I contacted the company to see if they could help me with an exchange or repair. They would not since it was over a year old. Regardless of the fact that I only used it for 3 weeks. So, pretty to look at, but did not function well. A company should stand by their product. So, now I am stuck with a useless controller. Would not recommend it to others.
