After reading some of the reviews here I just wasn't sure if these were totally PS3 compatible. But since the box they come in says they are I decided I had to at least try. Sure enough these works like a charm.

Me and my girlfriend are having a lot of fun with duets. Her gaining the higher scores. Me bringing down our overall score again and again. It's a great game of tug-of-war we play between her talent and my complete lack thereof. But she's always telling me I'm better then I think I am, even while I'm looking at my miserable score, and we really have a lot of fun together playing SingStar. I think that's where the strength of this game really lies.

I'm sure it's a lot of fun playing solo as well, but I really recommend all the SingStar games for couples. And for everyone looking for SingStar mics, either as replacements or addons to your stand-alone copies of a SingStar game, then these mics will work on either your PS2 or PS3.

Now if only I could find some stand-alone wireless mics for this game...

I bought this specifically for use withPlaystation 3 The Beatles: Rock Band, since they were cheaper than the Rock Band Official Microphone and you could get 2 instead of 1. Well, it's perfect - I've got zero complaints. Plugged it in and boom! Worked like a charm. The USB cable could be a little longer but that's a nitpick.

Solid and well made: heavy to hold in your hand.
Easy to operate as it is just a plug into one of the USB ports. Just that simple. The volume of the microphone can be adjusted using the R1 and R2 buttons on your remote. Not wireless, but unless you sing for a profession, the lenght of the wires are plenty long enough for you to move around a room.

This Singstar game is a lot of fun, and the microphones work well. They are also very sturdy, and they have a good weight in your hand, so a player really feels like they are a singing star! The microphones are easy to set up, and they can be used for the Playstation 2 or Playstation 3 versions of the game. I'm glad I bought them here because I got them for less than I would have in a game boutique. Good product, good value.

These microphones are very high quality, and so are a great value for the price. They work for either PS2 or PS3. I am using them on my PS3, and I they perform well.

Bought the mics for vocal input to Garageband on our granddaughter's Macintosh. According to her, "They work great!! No static and really clear sound!"

We have a PS3 and play Singstar and American Idol titles. I just want to tell anyone who may be considering this product to execute the purchase. These mics have a very professional feel. They are solid in your hand and the cord is ample length the have fun, pass the mic, and distance yourself from the speakers. These mics solved all of our feedback/popping issues without us doing anything. It was just a really good experience and we were surprised that they were such high quality.

I bought these microphones for the PS3 and they work great.... I wish they had more songs available...

My daughters and I enjoy playing Sing Star. One of our mics stop working, I order another set and we continued with our enjoyment.

After reading a few reviews that stated they had problems with the red mic, I still decided to buy since I would need two mics. When my girls got home excited from school we plugged it in and of course the red one doesn't work. I don't know if it is the mic or the adapter since I tried switching the cords around and it seemed to work then, kinda. I guess I am going to have to try and find another adapter to see if that is the problem. I'm not even gonna waste my time or energy to try and get replacements from the manufactures cause I've seen how that can go. My daughter said these mics sounded nothing like her friends do when they are at her house playing sing star so here it is only one day into ownership and no one is playing with them, guess thats what I get.
