5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for anyone.
Comes with 4 rechargeable 1500 mAh NiMH batteries and a built in recharger. If you have other rechargeable NiMH AAs, the charger will charge them while you're playing any game. Works with all PS or PS2 controllers, but only fits PS2 or PSOne units. Not classic playstation. If you have a PS2 and want to have freedom of roaming around with your controller, then this is...

2.0 out of 5 stars Looked cool :(
I am an avid ps2 gamer. I purchased this from a local store because of its apparent convenience. Was I ever wrong. The device has a battery indicator on it with 4 bars. When the batteries go down to 3 bars, I have a very sporadic connection to my ps2 (my ps2 is only 10ft away). After a while of playing Everquest Online, this became very annoying and inconvenient. When the batteries go down to 3 bars, I have a very sporadic connection to my ps2 (my ps2 is only 10ft away). After a while of playing Everquest Online, this became very annoying and inconvenient. After a month, I ditched this and bought a cable extender. Another expensive lesson. :(

5.0 out of 5 stars great device, August 20, 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Playstation 2 WOW Wireless Adaptor (Electronics)
i've had this device for a long time now and it works great. there were some complaints on other sites and reviews concerning the following issues: Lag, huge battery consumsion, and system compatibility. i've conducted a few experiments to clear these matters up. i've noticed the lag problem disappears when the scan button is pressed. the scan button is located under the hub. for less battery consumsion, just detach the battery pack from the hub when not in use. the device's design fits strictly for the newer ps1s and the older ps2s. if this device is to be used for other models, 2 controler extension cables are to be used in conjuction with the device. i will comment again if any other discoveries are found. so far, saitek's wow wireless adaptor is worth every penny and would definitely recommend it for playstation wireless needs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best wireless option for PS2, February 16, 2004
This review is from: Playstation 2 WOW Wireless Adaptor (Electronics)
The best selling point is the ability to use normal PS2 controllers which are far superior to all RF controllers on the market. The unit is rechargeable, so you don't eat up batteries. Works great.
