I purchased the Lava Glow Minis Controllers for Christmas 2007. They work great, the color in the controller is bright and beautiful. My two boys love them.

Bought these controllers for my kids to get rid of the cords. One thing that is not mentioned above is what batteries these controllers require. Anyway each controller requires 2 x AA batteries. I put some AA NiMH rechargeables in and they work great on those. Each controller comes with a wireless card thingy which attaches to your PS2 controller ports to communicate with the controllers. These run on 2.4Ghz frequency so check you don't have any other 2.4Ghz items in the area or there is potential for conflict. Saying this I do have a 2.4Ghz AV sender in my house and this did not have any effect.

The controllers work great and there is no lag in control imputs over the wireless connection.

The only "problem" I had is that the blue controller doesn't light up all that well. The LEDs in it are very dull. The Red controller is very bright! Obviously I have a defect in the light department but the bluwe controller itself works 100% control-wise.
