This controller has an interesting look to it. The handles themselves are full of liquid and when the blue lights shine through the liquid it throws off an underwater look to anything nearby. It gives a different feel from regular lighted controllers. I use this controller over any of my other ones now.

It is a very nice controller. I spent half an hour looking through the controllers until I saw this one and knew this was it. The price is right in range with what I'd expect to pay for a ps2 controller. This is the corded version, but for ten bucks more you can buy wireless if that is what your desire is.

The liquid and lights is pretty awesome. If you're anything like me you'll sometimes find yourself in a dark house in the middle of the night because you were busy killing zombies or saving the earth and having this controller provides the light required to find a light switch.

It just looks freaking awesome, ok?

My only problem was the controller's L1 button is broken. Don't get me wrong, it still works, but part of the plastic that makes it stick out correctly is broken so it tilts back in too far. It makes the button super-sensitive, which actually works out for me because it is the primary-fire button for one of my games lol.

The company that makes these controllers guarantees them, so it would be easy to return for fix/replacement if necessary.

I bought blue, but now I realize I should have bought red!

Received this controller end of February 2010. It worked for less than a month and will not work now... I am 35 yrs. old and take good care of my things. But this controller has just stopped working. I will avoid the 'best deal' in the future.

Well I bought this controller for my husband for Christmas. When I bought it, I didn't think that it would be a bright as is actually is. He primarily plays sports games, and he said that the buttons stick. Also he has only used it a few times and the cord is actually coming apart. So I spent money on this controller that he doesn't use, and is falling apart. So overall I am not impressed with this product. I really wish I would have just went to the local GameStop an bought one there.

They look cool but the blue one is to bright in low light. the buttons wore off and some stopped working right after the warranty ran out.

I bought this for a birthday gift & it is junk. We only had it out of the box for 2 mins when we figured out that the analog button wouldn't shut off ON ANY GAME & the down button on the arrow pad is stuck, it keeps taking us down on everything.
The company offered an exchange but with the bad reviews (which I stupidly didn't read beforehand) I opted for a refund & I will gift him something else.

The lights are fun and we enjoyed this controller. The problem for us was in durability. Not too long after we got it someone tripped over the cord this pulled the controller from the hands of the person playing and it hit the floor. Even though it did not hit very hard, and the floor was carpeted, it has not functioned since then. Though it was technically user error, our original PS2 controllers were much more durable. At first the controller worked well and functioned properly, and the price we bought it for was better than for other brands, so for some it may be worth the gamble in hopes that nothing like this would happen to break it.

Two months into ownership...only the blue light remains in working condition. The best thing I can say is that the packaging is quite spiffy.

Bought one red, one blue Lava Glow Wired Controller for our Playstation 2. They work great, look cool and were a great value for the money. I would recommend them to anyone looking for new controllers for their system.

I purchased this Playstation 2 Lava Glow Wired Controller for my nephew and he absolutely loves it. His word was "Awesome." It does not have the vibration function of some other controllers but he says he does not miss it. He says the lava blue liquid in the handles of the controller is really cool. He likes the blue light that it emits when in use. (Blue is his favorite color.)

This contoller was less expensive than the regular black controller that is standard for Playstation 2. It seems to be just as sturdy as the other contollers. He is very rough with his game equipment and still no funtional or hardware problems.

I am glad I chose this controller for my nephew. He really enjoys it.
