I decided to purchase this LCD monitor mainly because another similar product (Game Glass) had not-so-great reviewes on Amazon.com, and I decided to take a risk with this one.
It turned out that they are very similar models, although Mojoplay's resolution may be higher because is shown on the box as 1440 x 234, while someone else reviewed Game Glass as having the resolution of 480 x 234. In this respect Mojoplay may be better, although I haven't seen Game Glass and cannot guarantee this. The resolution 1440x234 is also not proportional and not supported by PS2, therefore the resulting output is approximated/resized and many screen lines are visibly lost. The problem is the 234 vertical (or horizontal?) pixels on both units, which results in bad quality at least on Mojoplay. The picture quality is sufficient to play games that display large text and do not have great level of detail. Smaller text is difficult to read and various graphics details are not always visible. However, I am giving the product 4 stars because my kids still love this product and even play some games at home on this monitor, maybe because they don't read much text and generally don't realize that the quality is not as good as on a larger monitor (and I haven't asked them to compare) :-)

I get easily tired of playing platform games on this monitor and have to use a regular monitor. However, I purchased this unit mainly for travel: to keep kids busy in a car or locations without access to a larger monitor. And this is where this unit serves its purpose well. Just don't buy MojoPlay as a replacement for a larger mmonitor or TV.

Update:
I wrote the previous review and then found great reviews in gaming magazines of another PS2 monitor, Joytech 8" LCD. Therefore later I decided to also buy and try the Joytech 8" LCD, which is little higher priced at around $160. It turned out that Joytech comes with 640x480 resolution, which results in really good quality and great level of detail. The difference from Mojoplay (and probably Game Glass) is huge. Now I am even able to use Joytech as a replacement for a regular monitor, without getting tired of it as easily as of Mojoplay. Joytech also comes with a remote control and a car power adapter, while Mojoplay doesn't include any of them. You also get a larger screen with Joytech, and it also provides britghtness and contrast controls, which I didn't see on Mojoplay.
I still recommend Mojoplay if you really can't afford the additional $40 and need only a basic monitor for travel. Unfortunately I will be returning or selling it after trying Joytech.

Note that I couldn't find the Joytech screen on Amazon.com but it can be found on Google and Froogle. It's also difficult to find information if Joytech is designed for the regular or slim PS2, but indeed it is for slim PS2.

As stated by the person that posted up a review before me, mojoplay is not the exact one that people would want. something about it just doesnt make me want to keep playing it on this monitor. blurry, fuzzy, nothing clear about it at all.

I really wish Amazon would carry Joytech's LCD screen. i would buy that in a heartbeat, even if it costs 40 dollars more. but since amazon doesnt carry it, im gonna have to buy it from a different carrier.

if anyone's looking for an LCD screen for the PS2 slim version, this is not the one for you. spend the extra $40 to get the Joytech version. it really is that much better.
