excellent possibly reusable liners,

This review is from: Playtex Standard Pre-Sterilized Disposable Liners 8 OZ: 125 Count (Baby Product)
I have used disposable liners and I love them. With my last child I used mostly Gerber brand becuase I got a whole bunch really cheap, but they were kind of wimpy, I would get a blow out in every box or two, by just adding the water. I have not had any of those problems with these liners. These liners are a lot sturdier than the Gerber ones that I was using. Admittedly, I am a cheap skate, so I was thrilled when I tried to clean them out and dry them and re-use them. It worked really well, especially when the bottle was just water or juice. I can get a second use out of the liners, or if I'm lazy (as happens) I can just toss it out. I don't feel bad paying a little more for these than the other becuase I really think this is a better product.
I appologize to all of you who would never dream of washing out a liner to re-use it. I am switching to these liners more permantly. Oh, and if any of you are lost as to how to use them to freeze breastmilk. Before you pump, write the date and such on the outside of the bag. Line the bottle, pump, use a bottle to hold it upright in the freezer until it is frozen. Then take it out of the bottle, close the top with a twist tie or fold it over and clip it with some kind of a clip (like a paper clip, or a bag clip), then put it in a large Ziploc-type freezer bag to store together with others. It should slip right back in the bottle when you're ready to use it. Good luck!

A bit flimsy,

I never wound up using the whole roll. I gave them away after using a few. I just find the pre-shelled liners to be easier to work with (although less portable in a diaper bag).

Not for storage,

Although some reviews mention storing milk in the liners and the box directly says you can store breast milk in these liners I have no idea how you would do that because there is no closure on these liners. DO NOT buy for breast milk storage.

horrible liners,

I bought 2 boxes of 4oz liners and 2 boxes of 8oz liners and i absolutely hate them. I have both the premium nurser bottles and the standard bottles, and when I use these liners they don't hold true to the ounce markings. I even use a real bottle that has true markings for ounces, and will put the water in there before filling the nurser bottle with this liner. Its almost as i the bottle isn't wide enough. And if I use the 4oz bottle with this liner and try to put in two scoops of formula and you can BARELY fit one scoop in! I received some preformed when I bought both sets of bottles and didn't try them at first since I had the other liners, but now that I've had so many difficulties with these liners- I'm using the preformed and I love them. So I guess I'll be giving away these liners!

I usually get the preformed liners but decided to try these. I hate them. My husband hates them. And truthfully my daughter didnt like them. Plus regardless of what it says it doesnt hold 8 oz. I will never buy these again.

Cheap, Strong, and Convenient!,

I love these liners!
I bought them for breast milk storage because bottles take up so much freezer space and the ziplock breast milk storage bags in the market are too expensive (if you consider the per piece cost)! I usually pump in 2-4oz increments because I don't want to have to thaw a huge amount of milk only to find out that the baby only wants 2oz of it. Hence, I needed a lot of bags and since storage bags with ziplocks are costly, I decided that this is the best choice. I also found out that they're pretty strong! You can reuse them if you want to. Personally, I don't because it's such a hassle to wash, sterilize, and dry them. Finally, I have Avent bottles so I couldn't use this as liners but I could just imagine how convenient it would be if my bottles were the playtex nursers! Too bad my baby's used to the Avent nipples.

I have no idea why Playtex stopped making these 8oz liners. Now the only thing you can buy is the 8 - 10oz expands liners. It makes no sense to me that they are upping the portion sizes for infants. But oh well...
These are great because they are actually cheaper and come with more than the drop-ins. You do need to use both hands when you are making a bottle, but that was never an issue for me when I used these with my older son. There is a slit in the box and they just roll out when you pull them. Very convenient. I wish I could still but these in the store.

Leaked Everywhere - Do Not Buy!,
This review is from: Playtex Standard Pre-Sterilized Disposable Liners 8 OZ: 125 Count (Baby Product)
These are very flimsy liners that are hard to install on the bottles. I filled the first two about halfway each and they leaked as soon as I took them out of the fridge. I lost about eight ounces of milk, which is quite a bit when you're pumping. I will never buy these again!

As the title says, it does what it should
so in my book these liners are good They're made to hold milk for my baby and so they do the job, perfect? maybe These liners are disposable and are what we use to feed our 4 month old daughter. They don't leak, they may be flimsy, but you don't need it to be any thicker since they're enclosed by the plastic bottle. I like the fact that they're thin actually, as if you ever need to heat up the milk, you can put the entire thing in a cup of hot water and it will heat up.

Not What I Expected,

I thought I was getting the bags. What I got was a role of plastic with writing on it. Supposedly they are bags you can put into the bottle but I could not understand the directions and don't see how it is possible that they could stay in and hold fluid. They also did not look like the picture here. The box was different. I should have returned it right away but I pulled one out to try and figure out how they worked in the hopes of salvaging my purchase.
