I have had bad luck with bras all of my life, so buying one online was really a stretch for me. Bras always made my breasts feel way too heavy, made me feel hot (sometimes sweaty) and made huge indentations in my shoulders (even the ones with the extra padding to prevent that). I couldn't wait to get out of my bra when I got home. I figured I was just cursed. I was finally fed up with all of the strap and bra tugging and did some online research. I found this bra with good reviews but not convinced, I visited the Playtex website and I'm so glad I did. I found that [...] has a great site for measuring yourself to see if you're wearing the right bra. It even addresses what specific problems you have and how to fix it (i.e. bra straps slide down a lot-- your size is wrong, or "mushroom" bumps at the top of your bra, the straps may be too tight). I found that apparently the size I always thought I wore was wrong. I had measured myself before to find the right fit, but it was apparently not a good measure because I have never had a bra fit the way I wanted it to or thought it should. The size I was given on [...] was very different from the size I've been wearing. I was hesitant to order a different size, but finally decided to go ahead because the ones I had clearly were not working. I chose to buy Playtex because that was the sizing site I used. This particular bra had good reviews for people with ample breasts. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! For the first time ever, I don't find myself tugging at the back to pull the bra down or constantly trying to find lost straps from where they fell into my sleeve. This bra is comfortable, breathable, and does the job. And, it looks good under a variety of different types of shirts. It's smooth, no lines, and looks natural, not pointy. It's not restrictive. It was listed as an "active lifestyle" bra so I sort of thought it would be like a sports bra, but I am happy to see it's not. I wear it with work outfits and at home in leisurely clothes and it's equally flattering and fitting for both. And, shocker of all shockers, I don't even remember to yank it off as soon as I get home because it's so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. :) I'm going to order more.

AND holds up through many washings - I love these bras, the back closing, bands stay soft, don't "pill", etc.

Oh my gosh!! This bra is the best I've bought in years!!!! I absolutely love it. It holds me in and lifts me up. It never lets me down. There's no muffin tops poppin out of the middle here. Even at the end of the day, breasts still in place where they belong. No sagging or seeping out the sides. I plan to order plenty more and I highly recommend. Very comfortable too.

This bra is billed for active lifestyles. Pros include that it wicks moisture and is relatively lightweight, which helps make it cooler to wear. The fabric is soft and it is well-constructed. It seems to fit true to size. The band and straps are comfortable and stay in place.

The downside is that it does not provide very much compression or support in the cup area of the bra. I wish the fabric in the cups was less stretchy so it would provide more support. I thought this bra might work as a sports bra, but it doesn't provide anywhere near enough support for that. It is also pretty dowdy looking. The coverage goes so high that you cannot wear a v-neck or anything except a high-necked shirt with it.

This Is a really good wireless support bra for those who have larger breasts. I'm always looking for the "perfect bra" and ordered one of the Playtex 18-hr active style to try. I can't wear wire type of bras as I have an allergy to metal. I also have problems with perspiration under the breasts and between the wire and the perspiration have a continuous red rash. I liked the bra and ordered 4 more.

What I especially liked about the bra:

1. The bottom band fits comfortably and didn't ride up and the rest of the band around the back stays in place and is comfortable.

2. There is a sort of "mesh" type of sling on the inside that cross to provide support and separation needed and no need for the wire.

3. I can wear this to the gym; however, I only do "moderate" types of exercise - circuit and elliptical 1 mi in 20 min. It provides good support for this activity.

4. I can wear it all day without feeling uncomfortable like I use to feel with the wire.

5. For the price, the feel of wearing and fabric durability is great! My one bra has been washed numerous times now (in my washer and not dried in drier) and still retains the shape.

6. I also have problems with my neck and shoulders, which also makes it difficult to find bras that fit comfortably and don't cause pain in my shoulders/neck area. The shoulder straps are fairly comfortable for me.

7. I love to shop Amazon!

So ... until I find a totally perfect, #5, type bra, I'll wear the Playtex active wire-free style!

I mainly use this bra when going to the gym, as the straps are comfortable and it holds my girls in place no matter what I do! I'm a 38DDD and I've always had trouble finding bras that covered my entire chest and held them down during rigorous physical activity. Finally, I have a bra I can wear for running, jumping, etc. without fear of poking my eye out! lol I really think these wash well and that they're sturdily made considering the low cost. I have previously spent up to $80 for designer bras that were supposedly made for larger breasts, but those never had thicker bands and straps like these do. I really love this bra, as well as several others by Playtex.

The Playtex 18 hour active lifestyle is now my favorite bra. I'm large chested 42DDD and wanted a bra that offerd support, wide (but not too wide) straps, and most of all kept everything in place. This does it all and is comfortable, while offering an attractive look! There are no itchy seams, the tag doesn't bother me, and it fits so that my sides don't bulge out. AS far as exercising goes, light exercise is ok and there is little movement, but you may need another means of support for hard sports or running. When I purchased this, I only purchased one and several of another kind in case I didn't like this. The next time I order bras I will order several of this one and none of the other brand.

My daughter says I am a "bra guru." I am always searching for the most comfortable bra made. I have a gastro disease that means I can't have anything tight at certain spots. I am full figured but not voluptuously full. Some full figure bras do not accomodate middle size fullness. This bra provides cups that offer full coverage and support. I tend to break out if the bottom band is nylon spandex only. The bottom band is breathable, comfortable and lays in the perfect spot. The cushioned wide straps relieve pressure on my shoulders and they are adjustable in the back. The closure offers 4 hook closure which means the sides are wider than usual reducing "back fat rolls." There are breathable areas around the top of the bra and on the sides. There is an extra support band inside the bra which is comfortable as well. The price makes this bra the best of bra purchases for the quality and features. I read other places that this bra is a semi-sports bra or for the "active lifestyle" which is the Playtex style description. Highly recommend.

Using it for 3 weeks now. Great bra. I bought 3 and love them all. In my case, all 3 colors fit the same and are true to size. If it helps anyone at all; I'm 5-4,150lbs,medium frame, and bra size 36C. This bra is soft, has good support all the way around, no padding in the cups, no bouncing, straps are comfy, it washes well in machine, and dries well in the dryer. It does not shrink or lose its shape. I plan on purchasing another 3 again just to have extra. I find this is my new "go to" bra for everything. Cups not pointy and I don't get uni-boob. Girls are happy!.

I originally bought these exact same bras at a local Kohl's (one actually) for $30. If you bought two they "gave" you the seond one for half price. that would have been $45.
When I got home I went on line and found them for $17 each at Amazon. I returned the Kohl's purchase the next day.
A few days later, they were on sale at Kohl's for $17. I had gotten mine in the mean time from Amazon and was perfectly satisfied.
