This live album by Ana Gabriel, recorded on Feb. 14, 1998 in Mexico City, is a true Valentine to her fans. I recommend it more than any of her greatest hits collections, even though they are also excellent, because it includes many of her versions of ranchera classics that aren't available on the "best of" sets. Plus, there is a stirring rendition of "Mexico Lindo Y Querido/Cielito Lindo," which will make you shiver and bring you to tears. With more than two hours of music and outstanding sound quality, this is a wonderful introduction to Gabriel's music. It is far superior to her other live album, which doesn't have nearly as many songs as this one. Buy it today.
