Book Description

According to “Pleasant Relationships” (PR), everyone is either a havvie or a nummie! These are slang terms for the acronyms, HAVEIT and NUMAWIT, respectively. The letters in these acronyms represent every character trait in human existence. To determine your character type, fill in the Chapter 5 Drag/Savvy Score Chart, which will reveal to what degree and to which group you belong! You may also score those in your circle of associations, i.e., boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, politician, doctor, banker, CEO—or anyone else who influences your life! When you determine a Drag Factor Score for these persons, you concurrently determine the likelihood of a possible “pleasant relationship” with them. HINT: Singles, you DO NOT want less than a pleasant friendship with your companion, especially a “future” spouse—do you?
Besides being a practical study guide on human “character” traits, this book is “the bible” for a fictional sequel called “The Depurator” (TD). TD focuses on required, necessary character trait change that makes possible our entry into a faraway paradisiacal land called Astral.
You and I are in one of the above two acronym groups—there is no escape! These acronyms colorfully describe each group's character traits ranging from “near flawless” to “most flawed,” as well as the nearly limitless concourse of combinations within. Yet, with the aid of the questionnaire sheets in Chapters 6 & 7, we can numerically score our own personal character trait values and tally our scores on the Chapter 5 Drag/Savvy Factor score page. The results of this tallying process will show where we place on the NUMAWIT/HAVEIT spectrum.
If you are not satisfied with your above tally sheet results, Chapter 12 presents an abundance of remedies to help you transform yourself into a new you. Such a renovation does require a pronounced effort, so be prepared to expend some energy on the desired results. On the other hand, you might not see any need for self-improvement. If so, you need to realize that no one is perfect—not even you! Not to trap you, but do you realize that most NUMAWITs instinctively (perhaps unconsciously) avoid self-betterment? Sorry dear nummies, because it is usually your type that needs the most refinement—much more when compared to those who humbly admit they are less than perfect!
Yet, with the wisdom gained from PR, readers are able to look deeper and deeper into the depths of their soul. Doing so further allows them to realistically acknowledge the absolute truth found there. To approach our real selves in such fashion can inspire a lot of positive change from within. Consider the following possible outcomes when personal character is improved upon.
CEOs and business owners can improve and increase their earnings; prisoners can improve their character in anticipation of their release and possible employment opportunities; soldiers can be more noble; parents can surpass the normal parenting skills; spouses can have real friendships; and singles can be more pleasant, or presentable, for dating relationships. Obviously, the list goes on for those who will strive to improve by reading this book and tackling their imperfections!
Additionally, through use of PR’s Chapter 5 Drag/Savvy Factor score chart, readers put themselves in a position to ascertain other’s abilities to take part in a pleasant friendship. In other words, through the score chart you and I can determine if our spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend, supervisor, employee or fiancé have (or don’t have) dominant “pleasant relationships” character traits. If they do, they are havvies! If not, they are nummies! Hence, PR educated readers have the capability—and the prerogative—to choose a havvie to be their spouse, girlfriend/ boyfriend, etc. It can’t get any better than that!
Best Wishes,
MA* and PA* (*MA and PA are acronyms for “Mysterious Author” and “Participating Assistant.”)
