Wonderful, heartbreaking book.,
This review is from: Please Don't Die (One Last Wish) (Paperback)
I seriously recomend any of these books for girls between 10 and 14. I could sit down and read one in a day when I was in middle school. Now, in college, I wish that I had access to them so I could keep up with Katie and the other characters. Wonderful books!

The One Last Wish characters seem so real.,

This review is from: Please Don't Die (One Last Wish) (Turtleback)
I've read many books by Luurlene McDaniel, but I especially like the One Last Wish series. I've read: Please Don't Die, She Died Too Young, For All the Days of Her Life, and Summer for Goodbye. I've also read: Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forever, and My Secret Boyfreind. Although I didn't like My Secret Boyfreind as much. The element of disease really makes a story more compelling. The One Last Wish characters seem much more real. I would much rather read about them. I think Lurlene McDaniel is a wonderful writer. Her books are very interesting, and I think she should keep writing as long as possible!

Please Don't die, was the first of many books by Lurlene McDaniel that i have purchased and read. Not only is it entertaining it helped me to get over the death of my cousin, who died of Leukemia. the individual stories of all the girls jumps out and grabs you, whether you want it or not. If you want a book that you want to read and be affected this is it.

THIS WAS THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Please Don't Die (One Last Wish) (Paperback)
This was one of the best books I have ever read. I learned a lot from this book. It also taught me a lot of things. It taught me that nothing can ruin a girl and girl relationship (a friendship between two girls). I have learned that when a good friend comes along, don't lose them. Don't let anything get in the way of that relationship. I had to do this book for a book report and I would do it again. Although this is the only one of McDaniel's books I have read, I plan to read many more. She is an inspirational writter and I say that she is an inspiration to us all.

She needs a heart transplant. Amanda is thirteen with leukemia. Read this book to find out more.

This book was one I'll never forget! I have read many of Lurlene McDaniel's books and this was one of my favorites. It shows how friendship can never be overcome, and how it is so important. I garranty you'll cry! But it's worth it. I can't wait to read the other books about these girls and their lives!

COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Please Don't Die (One Last Wish) (Paperback)
This was an amazing book!! It took me a day to read it because I couldn't put it down. I could relate to this book very well. My best friend is dying from cancer, and this book really helped me to deal with the possibility that she may die within 1 year. As I kept reading I felt like I knew the characters personally. It was kind of hard to convinse my self that this book is only fantasy.I can't wait to read more of her books!!!!!!!!!!! BYE!! |
