Get ready to take the front seat because this book provides real life dilemmas that any peace officer can face. This book is inspiring and provides a better insight to some of the ethical challenges of law enforcement. This book exemplifies the importance of perseverance and sticking to your moral beliefs at all cost. Two thumbs up to La Chapelle.

Phenomenol story! A true inspiration for future and current officers. LaChapelle did an outstanding job by taking us "backstage" to see what really goes on in some police departments.

This is an extremely inspirational book. To read this from cover to cover has enlightened me and I have been able to share the author's experiences and knowledge with my own staff. The trials and judgement that this man had to go through is truely amazing and it is difficult to believe that he accomplished so much while being surrounded by negative people. If you desire something true and heart warming in your life, than you will want to buy this book,begin to read it and practice the examples you learned in your own daily life.

This man has been through a lot and has seen corruption like no other. This man also has seen the purposeless lives of many and has not ignored the need to reach out. May we be even half as willing to do whats right.

Mr. LaChapelle's story gives us a higher level of personal courage, as we read about his endurance during endless attempts to stop his pursuit of truth. In the face of oppression, he stands strong. For those of us who are nervous about standing up for truth, this book will encourage us, but won't make us feel guilty. One can read this and be encouraged about the light of truth standing in the face of darkenss in this man's life. One can also read it and take heart in order to go forward with his/her own struggle to continue with the truth. In either case, it's highly recommended by this reader! And, it's a great story.

This book is an example of being true to yourself following the moral values you were brought up with. I like the fact that he didn't try to hide anything and how he shows the dilemmas that officers face on a daily basis. I wish there were more officers still that have such a great influence on a person that will make them strive to be better persons, and achieve greatness to the highest level. This book goes to show how one person can have such a great impact on those that surround you.. Kevin has a lot of guts to stand up to a powerful force such as corruption. He proves to the world that good ethical values still exist in the type of society we live in today. I enjoy reading about his experiences and what type of person he really is, and he is just as many others, joking around, being fun to be around, and serious when necessary. Kevin has the ability to reflect change in this book and in real life of how you perceive yourself and how others perceive you. I enjoyed this book so much, I finished reading it and have given to my family members to read. Great Job Kevin

I would deffinately say that Kevin Lachapelle is my book an"Urban Tiger".Why?He fought for what he truelly believed in and basically took his courage by storm.He has alot of guts to do all that he did.He's not a quitter.I also believe that when this guy puts his mind to something he finsihes it and it really showed through.Kevin Rocks!

This book will show you how one person can have such an impact on those around him. His ability to influence others and motivate and inspire those around him is phenominal. This book is real, no fluff!! Imagine if we all begin to take a stand for what is right!

This book is an incredible story! This guy allows you to walk in his footsteps. He is very candid, and offers incredible everyday insight. I wish I had read this before entering law enforcement! Great job!! A must read for anyone entering into government jobs. Reading this book will empower you to stand up for what is right and be a bright light in a sometimes dark world! I recall press articles regarding LaChapelle. Unbelievable that he stood so strong through it all.....
