5.0 out of 5 stars Talking to your teenagers., November 23, 2011

This review is from: The Pleasure Bond: A New Look at Sexuality and Commitment (Hardcover)
There are chapters in this book explaining why teenagers think their first boyfriend or girlfriend makes them feel so good. We stop touching our kids when they get too big to sit on our laps and their first boyfriend or girlfriend holds their hand, puts their arm around them and makes them remember those good feelings of childhood. I used this book to explain to my teenagers that that feeling was normal and didn't mean that they were "in love" . That was over 30 years ago, but still true.

5.0 out of 5 stars An unexpected pleasure..., June 27, 2010
This review is from: The Pleasure Bond: A New Look at Sexuality and Commitment (Hardcover)
As an ESL teacher, I'm always on the look out for new resources to use in my classroom. When I read the glowing review for this book from another teacher, I decided to give "The Pleasure Bond" a try, even if at first glance it didn't really look like an ESL book. I'm glad I did! The kids really seemed to take to it - I think it's because the vocabulary really relates to their everyday lives. We had some very interesting class discussions over it! Thank you, Masters and Johnson!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for ESL Classes, March 29, 2000
By A Customer
As an ESL teacher, I find this edition an excellent source of supplemental materials for my classes. The worksheets are very well written and help relate real-world items with necessary language skills. The only downside is that there are no answer keys to make grading them less time consuming.
