A Must Read,
This review is from: Pleasure for Two (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Another great read from Ms. Yaye. I had a hard time getting any work done while at work. Ms. Yaye created characters that you fell in love with and did not want the story to end. A wonderful story of role reversal where the man is not scared to wear his heart on his sleeve and the woman is interested in a physical relationship only. The steamy loves scenes had me reaching for a glass of ice cold water. Definitely a re-read.

Pamela Yaye's Pleasure for Two is a pleasure to read! I loved the opposing personalities of the star-crossed lovers. The female protagonist was the commitment phobe and the male protagonist was in a place in his life where he was ready to get married. Also, being from a far away country gives Marcel the opportunity to have more conservative views that oppose Dominque's more independent attitudes. And I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED that a sudden surprise in the relationship forces them to admit how they really feel about each other.
Pamela also is an expert at putting you exactly where she wants you to be in the world she's constructed for her characters. The prose is beautiful! Great read!

Pleasure for Two,
This review is from: Pleasure for Two (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Pamela Yaye, by far, is a gifted, talented writer. Her characters in Pleasure for Two are so memorable. Marcel and Dominique is definitely a couple you will remember. Here you have a woman who is used to doing things her way and has been independent. Marcel is an extraordinare type of guy who is used to calling the shots and not scared of the C word. Commitment to him is a part of his life and he is willing to compromise with Dominique to get it. I mean who wouldn't want a man that speaks French, handsome as ever and knows his way around the bedroom. Dominique is a little spoiled, but she knows she needs to make some changes in her life. When your heart has been torn, you put up defenses and sometimes it pours into your next relationships. Seeing them work through this only compliments the story more. The chemistry between the two is explosive, hot and entertaining. The secondary characters such as: Dominique's mother and sisters and Marcel's uncle enhanced the story, complimenting it even more. You can't go wrong buying this book. It is definitely an excellent read.

"Pleasures for Two" is a hot, steamy romance book by Pamela Yaye. Marcel, the main male character, is introduced to Dominique when she is hired as one of the massage therapists for his friend's bachelor party. There is an immediate attraction between the two and they find themselves only talking with each other instead of joining the other party guests.
Dominique assumes that Marcel is a wealthy businessman and when she learns the truth, that he is a Ph.D. student at the local university, she no longer wants to date him. She repeatedly tries to distance herself from Marcel but he is persistent and continues to pursue her. Dominique no longer can resist his advances and the chemistry between these two begins to fly off of the pages. Dominique is a confident, successful, educated woman who is unsure of allowing herself to fall in love with someone "beneath" her. This is an old age tale of following your heart, following your mind, or just going with the flow. Clear a few hours from your schedule, grab a big glass of lemonade, a seat on your patio, and enjoy this one because Pamela Yaye definitely knows how to write about PLEASURE! Reviewed by: Tiffany

Pleasure for Two,
This review is from: Pleasure for Two (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Well let just say the title fit the story, "Pleasure for Two and they did Pleasure each other. All this man had to do was look at Dominique and she melt he didn't have to touch her just look and smile now that a POWERFUL ATTRACTION. Pamela has weaved her way to another great story. I agree with every thing the reviewer said before. One you begin reading the character draws you in and boy is a journey that they take you on. Talk about instance attraction it jumps off the page at you.
The moment Dominique walk through his uncle door they connect. Dominique King a Bank Supervisor and part time certified Masseuse. In the beginning some would say that she come off as a snob, because she judge Marcel because she think he own the house and has money, but when she realize that the house belong to his uncle you can see the disappointment in her voice and then when she find out that he is A full time graduate student and part time research assistant at the Biomedical Engineering Program at Seattle University. Although she is very much attracted to Marcel that is like going backward for her, Dominique was once married to a musician for 3 years where they struggle to make end meet and while she work a steady job, her husband work he could. Marcel knows when a woman is interest in him and he sees how disappointed Dominique is. He sees Dominique as a career woman who never dates outside of her tax bracket. Marcel has dated enough women to know when a woman is interest in him or what they think he has. Dominique is confident, woman who know what she wants or so she thinks. Marcel is at the age where is ready a settle down. Pamela take you on a discovery with this couple you will absolutely fall in love with them, especially Marcel the Frenchman and when he talk to her in French boy something just went all over of me I swear I was there and he was talking to me......yea right......smiling. You will not be disappointed the book is great and there are some really HOT love scent like at the SPA yea.....and then there is one with them at the gym in STEAM ROOM like it need to be HOTTER and boy oh boy did they delivery.........I telling you this book is good and as the reviewer stated the roles are reverse and I love it when the man is the man and is not scare of saying I'm sorry or please forgive men and is a all around good guy. Keep ice cold water. Definitely a re-read. Smooches Louise |
