Classic Numan 2-CD Sets, October 16, 2007

It's hard to find these Numan 2-CD sets which Beggar's Banquet released in England back in 1993. The sound is very good, although I'm sure the later remasters may (or may not!) be better. While our 21st century remasters totally overload the audio bands for powerful bass and amazing quality, these versions are in a way more pleasant - giving the crisp/warm original LP sound and mix levels, but properly equalized/remastered for disc. I was listening to this yesterday and today on the train commute with my Bose headphones and the discs sound great! The booklet contains some photos, a few paragraphs on the story behind each release, and all the song lyrics. A 5-star package.
