I was fortunate enough to see Paul Taylor perform live in Long Beach California last summer. He was absolutely awesome! Every time I hear his music it takes me back to that beautiful ocean-viewed, breezy night. His music is so erotic, and really makes you think of nice times with that someone special. Pleasure Seeker is a wonderful compilation, and for even more pleasure try his CD Hypnotic.

Paul Taylor is one of those musicians that come along once every 10 years. He is definitely in a league of his own. His style is definitely on the pulse of the heart with every song better than the last. I know he will be around for years to come. Listen up, all you jazz wannabes and imitators, Paul is here to showcase what a true jazz artist can make you feel and imagine, which is a magical and mystical high, the kind you can only feel with a true soulful artist. I'll go on this head trip anytime!!!

I normally hate so-called 'smooth jazz'(the whole genre just seemed to cater to people who were too lazy to fully appreciate real jazz), but for some reason this classic from 5 years ago just speaks to me. Whether it's the cool techno-funk feel and exotic percussive textures of the opener "Groove Zone", or simply the passion and fervor with which Mr. Taylor plays, I simply love this CD! Maybe I'm getting to be a bit of a softy in my old age, but for smooth, relaxing sounds from a truly gifted young axeman, seek your pleasure right here!

I've been listening to this particular CD for 10 years now and it is still as jaw-dropping as it was when I first listened to it! The cuts are outstanding - every song is a masterpiece! Even though Paul has released several other wonderful CD's, this one, in my opinion, is his most-intensive work effort to date and is the standard to which his others are judged. What an outstanding piece of music....all the stars and planets were totally aligned when this CD was recorded and I would give it more stars if I had them to give.

I bought this alblum after hearing "Groove Zone" on the radio and the price of the CD would be worth it for that track alone. However, I found that some of the other tracks are equally addicting, if not more. Every so often an alblum comes along in which every song is one you enjoy hearing. For me, at least, this is one such alblum. Thoroughly recommended!

The Pleasure Seekers CD by Paul Taylor is one of the best contemporary jazz CD's I've had the opportunity to listen to. Every song on this Pleasure Seekers CD I would give 5 stars. Paul Taylor is one of the hottest contemporary jazz artists on the scene. Keep those great songs coming Paul. You're one of the BEST.

The best contemporary jazz cd ever made!! Songs like "Pleasure seeker" and "Dry your eyes" are classics. There aren't too many cds I can listen to without skipping a song or two, but Pleasure Seeker is an exception. Just a great cd.
