Editorial Reviews

Review

Sounds like Evanescence's heavier moments as performed by Stabbing Westward. Alternates between melancholy beauty and processed screams. --Jeremy Deibel, Offbeat Magazine, May 2005

Product Description

Pleasures Of Zer0's new EP bridges new sonic boundaries – hurling metal, industrial, and electronic into the blast furnace and spitting out a new kind of Metallurgy called “Synthcore.” This beast pummels you with alternating melodic and daemonic vocals, heavy yet melodic guitars, and dark synth sounds mixed with bone crushing beats.

5.0 out of 5 stars FULL CIRCLE, January 30, 2006
This review is from: Pleasures of Zero EP (Audio CD)
It has been way too long since something this good has surfaced from NOLA. Coined as "Synthcore" and remixed as "Dark Wave", each track stirres your soul with pounding break beats, serpantine synth, and bleeding/blending vocals.
A guilty pleasure, with a dose of gris gris.
