5.0 out of 5 stars Lower Class Brats
Hard hitting thugs from Austin,Texas who play a different style of punk. they are on the punkcore record label and are one of the best punk bands out right now. They band also like many other oi bands has a clockwork orange feel to them. if you like the casualties, the unseen, and oxymoron you will love this band. street punk oi!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Bland
Lower Class Brats are on PunkCore Records, which has some good bands, so long as they're fashionably punk (it's basically the #1 guideline for this label), but all this band is is fashion. This simply does not deliver. It's marketable, and... It's one monotonous song after the other, blending in to one extremely unmemorable record! Don't be tricked by fashion, the music...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good street punk, less clockwork, June 1, 2005
This review is from: Plot Sickens (Audio CD)
This album has a cool mix of oi and street punk stylings to make for a pretty good album. I personally like the more clocky stuff better but that's me, definately worth the purchase though.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Clockwork Punk Since The Adicts, July 5, 2005
This review is from: Plot Sickens (Audio CD)
It seems like most of the best streetpunk bands of the '90s are from Punkcore Records. A Global Threat, The Unseen, The Virus, and even The Casualties (guilty pleasure) have been making great music for the past 10 years. Another great band from the label is LCB. Whether it is their Clockwork Orange inspired lyrics, or their Misfits-like singalongs, something was different about LCB, and in my opinion, this is their best cd. From "Airwave Raid" to "Rather Be Hated" there is not a single bad note or song on this album. Songs like "Sex and Violence" or "Psycho" will be stuck in your head for weeks. Oh yeah, and make sure to see them live whenever you can!

With the nihilistic bad attitude of the Sex Pistols and the pure power of The Virus, this Texas punk band takes '77 style punk and mondern day, Clockwork inspired Oi to make a quality record.

"punk is an endangered species" is the line from "rather be hated" on this album, that put's the album into a nut shell. with the nihilistic swagger and attitude of the sex pistols, but the power and force of the casualties and the virus, lower class brats blend all kinds of punk into their sound. "airwave raid" was a great way to start, and my favorite song, "insult to injury" follows after. "psycho" and "rather be hated" are other highlights of the album. clockwork orange, beer, and the destruction of anything mainstream.

Don't be tricked by fashion, the music isn't half as cool as those clothes. Maybe they'll do better next time, since I'm sure they'll put out another record just to put one out again. They're that kind of band.
