This is a nice little bit of 'old world' charm for the Christmas season. The entire set is made of stamped brass and assembles easily. Four candles provide the rising heat to turn the top mounted spinner setting the angels in flight. Each angel carries a 'striker' which, as it spins, strikes each of two bells resulting in a beautiful 'ting'! Great for ambiance on those Christmas holiday evenings. Caution though as the candles should not be left unattended with small children about. But they'll love these carousel angels, the chimes, and the flickering candle light. You will, too, as I did when I was a small kid and now as an adult.

I grew up with one of these and loved it! I wanted my children to see how fun and magical it is. I always loved hearing those chimes. This is a piece of junk. The pieces are so flimsy and the angel on the top bent just from sitting up there. The center piece that holds everything up is so precarious and the little pieces that hold it in are so flimsy the piece starts tilting and then the angels don't hit the chimes. When you get everything bent the proper way and balanced and the angels do fly around and hit the chimes, you can barely hear it. The little bells are so thin they make almost no sound. The longer it sits there the more it starts bending to one side or another and then it stops working. There is no way this will last more than this season - I'm hoping it stays in one piece for at least a couple weeks.

The chime is very nice and just what I was looking for, except, I wanted a larger one. There was no place to tell how big they were before they were ordered. I am not returning it and will use one and give one as a gift, but it would be helpful to others if you could include the dimensions.

I ordered this chime after doing a little research to make sure I was going to receive a quality item, supposedly made in Turkey, not made in China. What I received is a very flimsy product, made in China. The angel at the top does not stay on,the moving angels touch the chimes but also the star which kills the pleasure of the chime sound. In order to get the chime to work, I had to superglue the "falling" angel to the top and the stand to the plate..., which means that I will not be able to take it apart to store it easily. There was a lot of complication with the seller who claims that Amazon is responsible for the mix-up and that there was no misrepresentation on his part. To be fair, I was given a full refund on the product, but I still believe it is unethical to send an item that is not the one described on the web site, particularly to replace it with such a bad product.

Looks alot nicer on box. Easy to assemble, however, top angel required crazy glue, as it did not readily fit in pre fashioned slots. It does work nicely, but overall, thought it was quite flimsy looking.

These chimes are not as sturdy as I hoped for. The chimes are not very loud at all. I was dissappointed. They won't recreate the childhood memory of sitting around the chimes on Christmas Eve.

My boyfriend had one when he was young and was extremely excited when I give it to him. Worked alright. The blades were a little bent when it came out of the box so we had to do a little alteration to them, but it works. Need to get more candles though...

I had this same chime as a child. This item is made in China. There are not sufficient assembly directions and the metal bends very easily in your hands so that it is like putting together something made of foil. Not worth the money and very disappointing.

When I was little, my favorite part of Christmas was getting out the angel chimes. Now my family continues the tradition. We light the angel chimes every night at dinner between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are a great part of our holiday celebration!

Love, love these candles and the sound they make and just brings back all the great memories from childhood. Received in great condition and in a very timely manner.
