Works alright, probably the same as the Pasco brand, but does not cost 6x as much. It does clear out the PVC socket so that a new piece of 3/4 schedule 40 PVC pipe can be glued in but... it is best if you drill out the old pipe all at one time, do not stop and restart. Restarting the drilling causes some alignment grooves that are not perfectly smooth inside the connection where you stopped to check the depth of cut.
It works best if you use a black sharpie or paint spot to mark on the bit shank just how deep you need to drill out the old PVC pipe. Use a brand new joint connection to gauge the depth of cut, and make a mark before you begin... and then keep the cut RPM's constant and drill straight during the reaming cut.
I believe that the Pasco bit comes with a schedule 40 and schedule 80 alignment guide, most of us use 40 unless you do a lot of irrigation piping.
This tool is great for the occasional, "no choice but to clean by ream" method of PVC pipe repair, but if I would needed an every day socket saver that self-centers and automatically stops at proper depth, then I would purchase the more expensive Wheeler Rex 017075 3/4" Fitting Saver (note it only works on schedule 40 pipe).
