Pourcel reminds me of Montavani,and Paul Muriat only better. He takes a beautiful melody and puts his own stamp on it. His String section will knock you right off your Chair!! I first heard him back in the 60's when he won best song award at the Cannes Film Festival with his song "Mercie Cherie"!! He is good if you like melody's!!

I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF FRANCK POURCEL FOR OVER 20 YEARS.IT IS A SHAME THAT THERE ARE A FEW CDS OF THIS GREAT CONDUCTOR.I HAVE MOST OF HIS ALBUMS ON RECORDS & TAPES.NO DOUBT,THIS ALBUM IS ONE OF HIS GREATEST PERFORMANCES.

I've listened to Franck Pourcel for years. By far, of anything in this class of music, he is THE BEST! I'm so delighted to be able to find his CDs.
