I bought this scanner to assist with my hobby in genealogy. It is perfect! I've scanned hundreds of photos, newspaper articles, documents, etc. in the first week. It is simple to use and fits easily into my laptop bag for carrying to libraries, etc. I am very pleased with this product.

My use: scanning small receipts and business cards
PROS: durable (I've scanned thousands), small (uses little desk space), powered by USB cord (no need for electrical outlet), high quality scans, easy to use software CONS: must wait a little extra between scans. If you insert the next sheet a little too early, the scanner crashes. Then you must shut down the software, unplug the scanner USB cord and restart the software to use again. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: if you scan small sheets,you must place them in the far right feed area- this is the location of the internal sensor. Scans standard size paper well- a great portable scanner for a laptop. WOULD I BUY AGAIN: Yes. |
