I've owned this scanner for about a year. The pluses are its small foot print that works for my desk, where every thing must have a place and be in its place. I also like that it will scan everything from a business card to 81/2 x 14. Nothing wider though.The downsides have been that when it jams, which it does now and then, I have to completely get out of the software and turn off the machine to restart it. I use this machine in a semi-paperless law firm, but I don't do the bulk of the scanning. I don't think this machine would work for heavy duty scanning like our staff has to handle. It isn't fast enough or hold enough sheets. I do however scan several items a day and it works for me. Overall, for the price, it has met my expectations and is nice little piece of equipment.
