Exellent cd of blues with swing and gypsy jazz overtones, July 18, 2004

Sonny Terry blows the blues on his mouth harp superbly on this exellent cd, and Brownie McGhee plays some red hot guitar, and sounds on one song particularly influenced by gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Exellent liner notes by famed jazz critic Scott Yanow. This is perhaps the finest cd by any acoustic harp/guitar blues duo. The msuic is 100% blues, but with loads of swing and gypsy jazz overtones. HIGHY RECOMENDED!!!
