both sides are great, though converge will make you a fan,

agoraphobic nosebleed chug out ten or so songs of their typical nature: fast as all hell drum machines, scott hull's signature shredding style(although it sounds more punk-based when he's working with ANb). These are all fine songs, though you should really get their actual albums if you want to be blown away. they have better material, but this stuff isn't bad. it'd be cool too, if the songs sounded a little more the way you might imagine them, judging from some of their cool titles(glass tornado, pentagram constellation).the converge side is just plain great. awesome stuff. you'll hear a great mix of styles, hardcore, metalcore, thrash, and some really nice slower stuff. the song 'stretch for miles' is worth the price of the cd. 'my great devastator' sounds like a technically proficient hatebreed and slayer collaborating. just plain awesome. my favorite side.

Agoraphobic Nosebleed-Mechanical grind madness dripping with emotion. A far raunchier sound than Honkey Reduction, the drummerless, bassless gods of gore-grind have excelled themselves, and most other bands of this type, with tracks such as 'Centre of the Hive'and 'Pentagram Constellation' .AG NOSEBLEED are grind at its most intense, whilst employing slightly old-skool production values. Just wait for their next album 'Frozen Corpse...'and your head will explode...man.Converge are the greatest band of these times. The most groundbreaking music this planet has ever produced can be found on their latest album 'Jane Doe', yet we recieve a wide variety of genius from Converge on 'The Poacher Diaries'. Ranging from the stomping and ear-splitting 'Locust Reign' to the tranquil beauty present in 'They Stretch For Miles' to the ultimate sound of agony 'My Great Devastator', Converge are gods in their world, or any other. 'Buy the ticket, take the ride'.

With two bands on one disc. Its A great bargain.Tracks 1-9 gives you anb(agoraphobic nosebleed). Most brutal and intense band out there.Fastest band. They are a little more experimental with the sound ,then they were on honky reduction.Well worth giving this band a try .If ya already haven't .So fast and intense a band .There is just no other band out there in comparisson to agoraphobic nosebleed for thier intensity.Tracks 10-15 is converge. This band is I have to say one the best bands I have heard in awhile.Trust me Relapse gave me a winter 2000 sampler. This prompted me to get this cd.Not so much just for agoraphobic nosebleed .Its converge.I like both bands, but converge really impresses me over any band of this style. They are very intense. The singers vocal range is awesome. Its just pierces through you in parts. The instrumentation they use on some the songs is awesome. Please check this cd out .Then from here pick up some other material by these two bands.Split cds are always a pleasure of owning. You get two bands for a low price.Gives a listener an experience of hearing the other band if they haven't yet. Enjoy this cause its worth every penny spent on it.Must have in the serious metal/grind/metalcore heads collection...
