Pocahontas
I bought this to use in my 6th grade reading classroom. It is excellent to use to teach reading skills such as main idea, author's purpose, or summarizing. I put it in a center and students have 10 minutes to use the book for an assignment. Since it is at a lower reading level, students have success in building skills to use in higher level texts. Not much of a biography
My nine year old daughter needed a biography for a book report. This book was advertised for up the 5th grade level. Sorry, I would say max of 2nd grade. We had to go to the internet just to obtain basic information. She read the book cover to cover in less than 15 minutes. If your child is past the 2nd grade, don't waste your money.

This book is a good addition to the grade 1-6 classroom library.
