~mirror corridors of the gift~, April 22, 2011
This review is from: Pocherk Leonardo (Russian Edition) (Paperback)
there are books.... there is nothing left to do when you nearing the end of them but to cry and hope, hope like hell, with all the vibes of your bottomless soul that you can feel so much as the heroes feel, and better yet, to feel as much as the author feels... of course at that moment you do not remember that there is an author and that you have a pile of marked paper in your hands. You feel alive, you feel like you are breathing and feeling and sensing and experiencing all that is written here. And you wish there was somebody who would love YOU this fully; and you wish you were there for Anna; and you know, you KNOW with every cell of your body that if one is given the Gift, one has to use it. One cannot ran from oneself; one cannot deny the Mark of the Heaven.
And your soul trembles in hope that there is a better life for the "different" people somewhere in the mirror world; and it hopes that it is exactly where Anna, the heroine of the book, disappeared to.
An Indigo girl, running through life and trying to get away from herself; she is talented and she is free -- and there are very few people in this world with chains heavier than hers; her dream and her life is in the mirror.... or are those mirrors in her head, mirroring the past and future in the corridors of the Gift? And the musician who always waits for that girl, and calls her "my soul", "my child" "my angel", and it doesn't sound sickly sweet: on opposite, these are the words of an old and bitterly tired Soul that found where it belongs to...
The Leonardo Handwriting is the book that churned my soul. I wish the play of Russian language, sweet, cruel, abusive, soft and pinching could be translated into English. I wish I could ever in my life write something as triumphantly simple and miraculously complicated as this amazing book of One Life in Time...
