Not up to Fodor's usual Standards,
By Lawrence Anton (Naples, Maine) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pocket Aruba: All The Best of the Island with a Side Trip to Curacao (1st ed) (Paperback)
I would recommend this book only if you are looking for information on places to stay. If you already have accomodations booked, save your money. Restaurant and sightseeing information is readily available at the airport in numerous free publications. The book appears to have been thrown together with a lot of generic Carribean information included that does not pertain to Aruba. For example, the book tells you to use only bottled water and to avoid ice. This is ridiculous on Aruba which has an excellent public water supply system.
