great book
The pictures are very good and many of them. It explains case analysis based on the photos. Nevertheless, the best book I have read on this topic is Tongue Diagnosis in Chinese Medicine by Giovanni Maciocia. On the other hand, this book helps a lot because of the many pictures.

Good, but there must be something better.
This is a good book, and I have yet to find a better one, but I feel there is much room for improvement. Navigating the book was a little difficult, pictures were (in my opinion) not clearly described, and seemed to focus more on recommended treatment for the individual than the diagnosis of the tongue. I think I would prefer an artists color drawing instead of photos...

This is a good book, and I have yet to find a better one, but I feel there is much room for improvement.
