Excellent Travel or Research Book,

Pocket Book of Ancient Egypt by Farid Atiya This excellent little book only five inches by five inches has 384 pages filled with concise, pertinent facts and information about the beautiful sites on ancient Egypt which the traveler wants to see. The text is on each left-hand page and the site described is pictured on the right-hand page. All photos are expert and beautiful, and the text is clearly written and easy to understand. Because Atiya has selected pertinent information of interest to travelers, the subject matter is easy to remember. There are also some double page photos to show details described. Large books are difficult to pack on a trip, but this one surpasses most travel guides in every way. It is one you'll want to take with you and to keep as a perfect memoir of your trip to Egypt. Also this is an excellent research book for school projects in history or geography.
