A friend told me about this prayer book and I am glad she did. I have other prayer books but this one is the best. The print is fairly large too. I think the other person who wrote a review should take into consideration there are some of us who like to have a prayer book to read at night. Anyone who buys this book would be making a wise purchase and the price is awesome. It has really dropped since I bought mine. Take advantage for Christmas. I know I am buying more for presents. Any catholic friend of yours would love this Catholic Book of Prayers as a gift and thank you over and over for it. It is awesome and has some great prayers in it.

A Catholic who doesn't know whatsup with the Mass? Join the club. I'll blame the poor teaching, but I really know I never did a lesson or paid attention at catachism. This has the Mass broken down into good (and short) summaries. Uh oh! No more mindless daydreaming during Mass! A good and quick read for those who figure Mass is worth going to. I'm glad I'm one of them again. Oh yea, don't forget every prayer you ought to know.....they're there too. We shoulda paid attention back then.... Well, better late than ignorant, eh?

This is simply a must have to read for us US. Roman Catholics. I must buy folks who pray constantly like me.

This Prayer book is very good. it Not only has prayers to use everyday but it explains the different parts of the mass. i use it every week in the adoration chapel.

This is a pocket book of prayers for all occasions, seasons of the Church year, days of the week, daily prayers, and the liturgy of the Word and the Eucharist. It is a handy companion for your Bible studies and private prayer.

I am new to catholocism and don't know the prayers. This book helps me to remember all the different prayers and there are a lot of them. It walks you the Rosary which is helpful. I love the large print.

This is a good book, although I think it would benefit a new Catholic convert the best. The first part of the book breaks down each part of the Mass and explains its purpose. The rest of the book are the most basic Catholic prayers and instructions on praying the Rosary.

I enjoy the book very much, fits in small places, and when I need a prayer I just pull this out.
Well worth the price!

I am giving a copy of this book to all of my 8th grade Confirmation students. I think it is an excellent way to keep them involved. As a catechist, I appreciate the "catechist in a cover" Mass break down. Now if only the kids would see it that way. . .

This is a very pretty, little, pocket prayer book. I carry it in my purse and find it a nice reminder to pray when I have extra time during the day. The cover is very sturdy and the pages are heavy - it reminds me a little bit of the prayer book I received when I made my First Holy Communion in the 1960's. The only part I don't care for is the beginning which describes the Mass as a prayer because it just tells about how the Mass is a prayer instead of including the prayers at Mass. Those pages are attractive and the explainations are good, but it is sort of preaching to the choir...I say "Bring on the prayers!" There are many prayers missing in my opinion too, but most are included.
