I came across the guide to Fluid, Electrolyte and Acid-Base Balance during my first semester of nursing school. It had been a while since I had taken any science courses and this little book was so helpful as a supplement to what I was learning in class (nursing classes and Anatomy & Physiology). It's also been handy to go back and refer to as a refresher. I was easy to read, easy to understand and the illustrations were helpful too. I would highly recommend it to students or health care professionals.

This book is phenomenal if you would like to know more or just follow up on the body's acid base balance and Pathophysiology process. Would definitely recommend this book to any EMT-Paramedic or nursing practitioner.

This book gives the how's, what's, and why's to pretty much everything fluid. If you need to know about fluid composition and function, this book will provide the info!

This is truely the best pocket guide I have come across to date. I have found it to be extremely useful. I would recommend it to anyone.
