This is a bare-bones reference guide to the many print requirements that have become common and misunderstood. The definitions combined with graphic illustrations are a great resource, complimenting the larger text by the same author. The best guide to print reading for the inspector, or manufacturer who needs to understand what requirement is called out. All this, and its done in an easy to understand format, not overly dry, technical text.

This is a must for those working in the metal working trades. The companion guide is also valuable. Lowell Foster has been a leader in GD&T training for decades.

I have been using the Lowell Foster Geo-Metric series for GD&T for nearly 30 years across 4 different organizations. I have found nothing that matches the simplicity and usefulness of the Geo-Metric series. Every machinist and engineer in our building is issued the pocket Geo Metrics guide as part of his "equipment to do his job". Much like the Machinist Handbook this is a guide you must have.
