The word is that people fear public speaking more than they fear dying, so this book is for any of those people. These tips help get anyone ready to not only get over their fear of speaking, but to command audiences. There are excellent tips for giving a presentation and using PowerPoint. Being able to master these two can give anyone a one-two knock out punch for public speaking.

This book was very helpful to use when preparing speeches for an oral communications class. The chapters were organzied effectively and it had everything you need to know about organization and presentation.

It's a really good book for those who want to improve their speaking skills and over come it's fears.

You definitively will be more given to give talks in front of people. How to lose your fears is one of the must taken topics.

The vendor said " this book is NEW, NEVER OPEN, NEVER USED", but this book have highlight page, is it New ...the vendor lied to me...sorry but you have to be honest...I paid for NEW BOOK , NOT FOR USED BOOK..... Thanks

My book came brandnew in the packaging with not a mark on it. It came on time, early even I believe which was nice because the book is for a college class and it was nice to not have to stress over it getting here. If you have doubts about doing a successful speech or even for giving a presentation whether for class, work, or some event I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS. I have read this book in its entirety several times over and over, it is an absolutely FABULOUS little guide thats EXTREMELY HELPFUL. It contains chapters on building an outline for persuasive or even informational presentations, has hints on combating anxiety, and sample outlines to help you on your way. I used it for school having to conduct an informative speech on communication apprehension and then for my senior capstone presentation to an audience of professionals, in both instances I got an 'A'. I LOVE THIS BOOK, TRUST ME YOU WILL TO!

I wouldn't say this is one of the best books I've ever had. It provides very little information, half of the information discussed in class is not in the book. This could be much better.
