A tremendous book to help soothe and relax. I tried a little "pocket massage" on a train recently - it certainly relieved the stress, but do remember to chose your venue with care, especially if you are using essential oils.

This is a good portable book on basic massage techniques, along with a very detailed and informative section on massage oils. It includes a chart of oils and their effects, as well as warnings about certain oils and their interaction with the environment.
The small size makes it easy to take anywhere, and the massage techniques are nicely organized by body part and by specific massage types, such as for relieving headaches, stomachaches,and eyestrain. I highly recommend it for anyone that wants a portable massage guide to keep close by.

This book is the perfect size for throwing in your purse or backpack. It is great for stress relief massages that you can do your self. It also has some great basic information on essential oils for massage and relaxation. I use this book a lot on temp work assignments and it really helps to relieve the stress.
