If you are a writer, i would advice you to get this book, i absolutely love it and i highly recommend it to ALL my friends its an incredible book. I LOVE reading it and hopefully i will be doing more writing. get it its awesome

Received this in the mail today. I purchased my copy used but it was in good condition with only a few scraps and scratches. Mine is a hardcopy and very sturdy with no breaks or torn pages. I was already familiar with the "Writer's Muse" books so I was excited when it arrived and turned out to be exactly what I had hoped for. These books are a lot of fun even if you aren't a writer but want to play with your imagination. It is great for students taking creative writing courses or just to have something to flip through on a rainy day. Beautiful pictures on the pages and a worthwhile buy.

I absolutely love the Pocket Muses! I always go "really, that much?" when I see the price, but then I remind myself that they're hardcover and really for how much I use them? Totally worth it! I keep these together with my other "resource" books for writing. If I'm ever stuck or need an idea, I pull my "resource" books down to use and I always figure out something to write with.

If you take out mini post-its to mark the pages you're interested in, you'll end up using a whole stack! I warn you now! Absolutely worth the money!
