I think Pocket Neopets is the best way to keep children attracted to their new toy.Pocket Neopets rocks!

This is one of the best toys I ever played.
If kids don't have pets of their own they
get a feel of what you have to do to take
care of it. It teaches the responsibility
of feeding, making sure it is healthy and
other things like that. Plus it is fun and
can be something to keep you busy on plane
rides and car drives that are 3+ hours long.

My cousin is a great neopets fan, and she doesnt have a pet of her own, so when she got this for christmas she was THRILLED. She carries it everywhere with her, and it is great for when there is no computer for her to play Neopets on. The only problem is its small size. She has lost it several times, but it has turned back up. I would definantly buy it for any Neopets lover, or someone who just loves electronic pets. It is also great for a child who doesnt have a pet.

Toy is very fun and exciting! My kids love neopets and this is the best thing they ever got! I think you should buy this! And if you get a high score on the games, you get a special prize on the website at www.neopets.com!

This toy is very fun and will keep you occupied for many hours. The only real education I have found is that it shows how to subtract points when you buy something. It is durable for the most part, but sometimes the 3-D world comes off, but it is easy to reattach. All in all, this would be a good toy for any child who doesn't have a pet, because it teaches responsibility and you can have fun too!

This is the coolest toy!!!!!! If you buy a petpet on the pocket neopet, and play with your neopet with the petpet it makes the neopet really happy. If you make your neopet really happy it will NOT run away. It only has a few games. That is not alot of games order to earn neopoints, but i am ok with that! This toy is the bomb. i love it! my pet is 5 days old and has not run away yet. i love it. BUY BUY BUY BUY

I just bought this toy, and I absolutely love it. It is highly entertaining, and will save you from many hours of boredom. Hasbro did a fine job in forcasting the need for a virtual pet, and making a product of quality.

My advise at this price a good buy. I got mine for like 15 dollars and im dont know about that being a good price but anyway...Pocket Neopet is basiclly ok. The games are kind of boring and the whole layout is confusing. The games also only give out neopoints like 3 times a day (unless you play the slots which is boring), and there's hardly anything to do. It's nice because it has the little 3D thing to play with but get a diffenrt because theres no room to play with this one cause it has an ocean. Anyway whats good about is that it's very portable, durable, and it's fun to have your own little pet. It also alerts you when the neopets site is having a special day. It doesn't beep in the middle of the night and is pretty low maintance...You can also set it like alarm clock and you can put messages with the alarms!

I should say from the beginning that I was not familiar with Neopets when I bought this, but I find this toy to be rather disappointing, and somewhat frustrating.

First of all, your interaction with your Neopet is very limited. There are very few items available at any one time and very few games to play. It is also difficult to collect Neopoints (NP), because the games only reward you with points for about three plays per day. Thus, you can rarely get enough points to buy anything unless you spend hours playing the (rather pointless) slots game. And, after three or four days playing, the games never progress any further than level one. I cannot see that I could "do better" at any of the games than I already am, so the games quickly become frustrating and tedious. Also, the store "sells out" of everything and then you have to wait until the next day (which would be an eternity for any kid playing this stupid thing) for them to restock.

The best part of the toy is the little 3D play area for the included figure. However, the figure has a little peg on its behind so you can stick it in the areas of the toy, but it makes it unable to stand up on its own outside of the toy (a poor design idea, in my opinion).

If you are a big Neopets fan, maybe you want to have one of these anyway, but don't expect it to take the place of the online Neopets. I also think most children would find this toy frustrating and quickly become bored with it. It looks cool and colorful, but has very limited entertainment value. My advice is spend your money on something else.
