2.0 out of 5 stars Traveling clock wouldn't last one trip., July 20, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pocket Size World Time Travel Alarm Clock with calendar Timer Temperature display and 3 LED flashlight - Black (Electronics)
-LCD is TINY!;only viewable from a narrow angle.

-Time zones do not include Arizona (you would have to set it to L.A. or Denver depending on time of year.)

-no way to pack this item for traveling without buttons being pressed. Simply handling it is a good way to hit the 'set' button.

-rubber feet on bottom of unit attached with very little adhesive (you'd lose those on your first trip)

-5 batteries needed for unit; 3 coin batteries for light (included), 2 AAA batteries for clock

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Travel Companion, July 22, 2009
This review is from: Pocket Size World Time Travel Alarm Clock with calendar Timer Temperature display and 3 LED flashlight - Black (Electronics)
I recently traveled Europe and asia and I must tell you that was an absolute pleasure telling time with this Clock,, all I had to do was twist it to the correct zone!! Last time I did my tour I had to wind, wind, and rewind my Clock at every time zone. - The convenience, The quality, at this PRICE is a great deal, in my opinion!!! -

1.0 out of 5 stars Great idea, poor realization of the idea, October 1, 2009
This review is from: Pocket Size World Time Travel Alarm Clock with calendar Timer Temperature display and 3 LED flashlight - Black (Electronics)
I really like the idea for this (the rotating dial), and read the review about the buttons being too easy to push, and yet I decided to try it. Wow, it seems completely unusable as is. As the other reviewer said (I'm paraphrasing) you really cannot help but press the buttons while simply handling it. It's pretty disappointing.

One reason I decided to try it is that I think I can get a tubular plastic case to hold it in my suitcase. That should prevent those button presses. I'm going to check at REI this weekend. Then for use once out of that "case" I would just have to be careful. We'll see.

Oh yes: the display is very small.
