Excellent Combo
Items arrive home and have software updated to the latest version. Put Mini on camera and the other on remote flash and they work beautifully. I trigger the flash from closet, 3 rooms away thru 3-4 walls in between and it works every time. Will do some more experiments as time goes on. In the meantime, I'll order one more TT5 Flex to take advantage of $25 rebate. They...

Why would one pay $30 above list price for a 'bundle'?
I own two FlexTT5, purchased from Amazon at the retail price of $219.00 each. Great product, and I would definitely recommend them to any serious user of Canon Speedlites. This 17th St photo bundle, though, appears to be a ripoff! On Amazon, a MiniTT1 goes for $199, for a total of $428 for the equivalent of this ersatz bundle. It is sad to see such unscrupulous dealers...

I own two FlexTT5, purchased from Amazon at the retail price of $219.00 each. Great product, and I would definitely recommend them to any serious user of Canon Speedlites. This 17th St photo bundle, though, appears to be a ripoff! On Amazon, a MiniTT1 goes for $199, for a total of $428 for the equivalent of this ersatz bundle. It is sad to see such unscrupulous dealers hawking their wares on a respectable site like Amazon! For a $30 premium you get the privilege of paying $13.95 for shipping!

In the meantime, I'll order one more TT5 Flex to take advantage of $25 rebate. They seem to be expensive though but well they work that matters. BTW, I hate the pre-shipping period, take them a week to get this order going, by the time I have these in my hands it's already 2 weeks.
