The flesh on his little palm was caught and wedged between the wheel and body of the car.

I might even say this is the best toy for a child between the ages of 2 1/2 and 4, depending on how long yours will play for it.
FavorsCandy
She enjoys putting things like the pocoyo ball or other cars on the tracks and having the pocoyo car push them around.

I purchased this at Walmart for 24.58 for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I was honestly a little disappointed upon opening the box. First off, there was no instruction booklet. There are some instructions for inserting batteries printed on the side of the box along with the usual warnings. No instructions for assembling the track, but this is easy enough to figure out after monkeying around with the pieces. The track pieces feel flimsy, but snapped together no problem. There is also a bridge that will "swiggle" back and forth with the push of a button. This feature does not work on anything but a hard smooth surface. I initially set up on a carpeted surface (very flat, low pile rug), but the lightweight track became hung up and only made a click-click-click noise. Once set up on a table top, this feature worked well and the track switched back and forth wildly which was pretty cute. The set comes in a pretty big box but really the whole thing once disassembled will fit in a small shoebox. This is not a problem, but kind of surprising when you take the whole thing out at first. The little car with Pocoyo character is cute. It plays a tune, but the sound of the car's wheels on the track kind of drown out the music. After playing around with it and trying different track configurations I decided to keep it. I think my daughter will get a kick out of it but not sure that it will hold her attention for very long. Also not sure how well it will hold up to a toddler's rough handling. The box says 18 mo. and up for ages, but most info on the internet says 2 to 5 years. I think it is appropriate for 18 months to about 3 years. I don't think a 4 or 5 year old would stay interested for long. It is probably a little overpriced, but what the heck. It's Pocoyo! That alone will make my daughter smile.

I was disappointed that there was no instruction booklet with this toy. As the other reviewer mentioned, it's pretty easy to figure out the batteries and putting the track together, but instructions would have been nice. Unless you can remember all the track configurations, you'll either need to save the box or cut out the pictures. The toy is cute and my daughter has really enjoyed it over the past couple of days. That said, while the music is fun (and is somewhat drowned out by the car noise on the track) I guarantee it will start to annoy parents after hearing it non-stop. A wonderful feature would have been a three-stage switch (on with music, on without music, and off). Also a warning, especially if you're a parent with a long-haired child. There is no "safety/auto-off" on the car. My daughter got the car close to her head and her hair became tangled in the wheel. If you use the car off the track, it doesn't seem to stay on a straight course.

My son loves Pocoyo so when I saw a commercial for this on late night TV I wanted to get it for him so bad! I found it here for cheaper than the commercial but decided to wait to buy it for him for a New Year gift. I was a lucky duck and the price dropped down to $15 when I was ready to buy. When my 3 year old opened the box and saw this toy he flipped! He played with it non stop for at least an hour. It was fun as is, but I thought because he is bigger that maybe having two tracks would be more fun (so we could hook them together). I came back to Amazon and the price was even lower ($12) so I grabbed another one. SO worth it! I basically got 2 sets for what I was going to pay for 1!
The tracks click together, easy enough for a 3 year old to do. The car is loud, like every other toy we own with a speaker, we just put a piece of clear packing tape over the speaker- easy fix! There are a few ways to play with this toy, build a regular track with the wiggle bridge (which only works on a hard smooth surface-no carpet), you can hook the tracks in a loop and let the car go- almost like a hamster in a wheel, you can also make smaller tracks with a lean/tilt- it's a little tricky and my 3 year old can't do it so I do it for him. This toy also comes with a little ball. I thought it was kind of random, but I put it on the track and my son thought it was the funniest thing when the car pushed the ball along.
We could not be happier with this toy. If your child loves Pocoyo, chances are high they'll like this toy even if they are a little older. I think this toy is ideal for ages 18-24months.

Our Pocoyo Swiggle Traks kit works well after 2 years of use and we just added as an expansion a "Kidoozie Build A Road X-Track" kit which has turned this very small Pocoyo world into a full blown set now with a tunnel!!!
Kidoozie Build A Road X-TrackWe have been waiting for the correct track kit to use and found this amazon item to be the perfect fit. The Pocoyo #1 car is the best to lap around on the track and can turn into non-stop Pocoyo fun as he pushes his ball everywhere he goes. WE LOVE IT, thanks

Yeah , all parents wants to gift their kids with pocoyo toys due to cartoon, but be beware , the quality is pathetic.
Tracks are really small, the car will go very slow, it will bore your kids within few minutes, they will just move away from the toy.
The music from the car is so feeble, you have to keep it near your ears.
Ball is molded two halves, so just one pop to the floor , it will break...
All the best everyone...
